20 Sep 2025 - Lunch El Cerdito Smash
Yet another tasty burger from one of my favourites. Juicy patties, as usual, with a nice touch of sweetness. A good amount of spiciness and textures from the chorizo, bacon, and jalapenos, complemented with tasty jalapeno mayo and cheese.

What a delicious burger! I like the freshness of this one. It had great textures from the lacey-edged beef patties and onions. Tasty bacon and quality cheese flavours. The fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned.
25 Apr 2025 - Lunch Smoklahoma Smash (Special)
Nice and juicy oklahoma style lacey smash patty's with lots oniony goodness, how it should be. Nicely smoked bacon, super tasty cheese and fresheness, and crunch of the pickels. It is topped off with some mustard and spicy bacon aioli.
16 Mar 2025 - Lunch Jibba Jabba (Special)
You just can't beat the signature lacey beef smash patty's from Two Stacks. When pared with some of the delicious perfect spice levels of Jibbas Hot Sauce, it's just a great combo. Nice textures from the crispy onion rings and tasty bacon. The cheese used was so tasty, lingering on the pallet for a while. Balanced out with the fresheness of the lettuce and sweet Pinaple Salsa. Get one in ya. Love some Jibbas Hot Sauce with a variety of meals, with my own selection handy at home.

Read moreTwo Stacks Burgers, nestled on the bustling South Terrace strip in South Fremantle, brings a unique charm with its setting in a converted sea container. The outdoor seating captures the laid-back essence of the area, offering a casual spot to grab a bite while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the local community. The stripped-down aesthetic of the venue aligns well with the straightforward nature of the menu, which leans heavily on classic burger options.
However, while the concept holds promise, the experience leaves room for improvement. During a Saturday lunchtime visit, the service felt notably unpolished. Despite being the only customer and ordering a simple meal, the wait time stretched longer than expected, hinting at inefficiencies in preparation. The staff’s approach to customer service could be described as brusque, adding a layer of frustration to an already slow experience.
One of the most striking aspects is the pricing, which feels disproportionate to what’s offered. For instance, the kids' meal—a basic cheeseburger with meat, cheese, and ketchup, accompanied by a side of fries but no drink—costs $14.50. For a venue with a limited menu operating out of a minimalistic container, such prices feel steep, especially when the overall food quality and portion sizes don’t quite justify the premium.
While Two Stacks Burgers has the potential to be a cool, quirky stop for a quick bite, the current combination of slow service, gruff demeanor, and high prices makes it hard to consider it a must-visit. It’s an intriguing spot to experience at least once, but there’s little urgency to make a...
Read moreWe visited Two Stacks over a year ago at their Sunshine Harvester location. We didn’t realised they’d moved and are now completely different. Upon arrival for lunch today, our initial reaction was we were disappointed - only 2 or 3 small tables in front of their kitchen van. The menu was minimal with only 3 burgers and chips available to order. We quickly found out that we’d come on their ‘First birthday weekend’ so they had a special $10 burger menu. I’d like to think that after the weekend the menu would have more to offer? The burgers themselves seemed smaller from what I remember from last year (maybe my imagination? - so our teen easily gobbled down 2.)
The menu itself that sat on the counter didn’t explain what the burgers were (ingredients), like you’d read in a normal menu, so we stood for awhile googling it, which we found out online and made our order. Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. We managed to grab one of the few tables and shared with another couple. -Classic -Out and In -Chipotle -Fries Between the 4 of us we ordered every burger and they were delicious! The classic was your standard burger. The Chipotle had jalapeños - just enough heat to not be overpowering. The Out and In basically had salad. While we were originally a little disappointed at the new location, lack of tables and minimal (special) menu - the smashed patty burgers are still awesome. Sooo tasty....
