Okay, food there is simply the best Japanese in town. Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. That is why we go there every Friday. Prices are high but the food is worth it. But.... Service is so bad. One day we came - no warning, the place is closed. Now three weeks in a row - "we don't make sushi these days, we are short of staff". But sushi is the main catch here, they are the best, that is why we come. How can you be short of staff for weeks. If there are more than three tables (never fully busy) taken, be ready to wait for 25-30 minutes. Plus a queue from Uber pick ups - we experienced 40 minutes wait. If these guys learnt how to run a business, put a good manager there, improved waiting time and service, they could attract so many people because their food...

Hangry prawn roll was great. The batter on the prawn was light and crunchy. Should definitely order the full roll of 8 pcs!
Yakiniku Donburi was unfortunately not that great. This is supposed to be more savoury version of Gyudon which is their daily special. The Yakiniku tasted like Gyudon leftovers that may have been refrozen and freshly refried with onions because there is a distinctive taste of frozen sliced beef.
Perhaps the Gyudon with an onsen egg would taste better.

The service was very kind and the man who served us was very polite. I do think they could increase their staff as our main course came a little bit late and people who came in after us got their food first but overall food was so authentic and delicious....
