We opted for takeaway to try the food and it was so disappointing. We ordered satay chicken for an entree, which was four small pieces of chicken tenderloin in a thin, orange sauce that bore no resemblance to satay and had no peanuts in it whatsoever. The Choo Chee Prawns was edible, however there was just 8 small prawns and the dish was not in the “thick curry sauce” as described in the menu. The “mixed vegetables” amounted to barely 1 mushroom thinly sliced, a few bits of carrot and tinned baby corn; definitely not worth the $22 we paid for it. Then perhaps the worst Thai dish we’ve ever had; their Chilli Garlic and Basil - we got the chicken. The aroma of the dish was an off putting chemical smell, with the sauce clearly having come from a jar. There was no fresh Thai basil; in fact there was no freshness to the dish at all. The minced Thai basil in the sauce made the whole dish taste fermented and bitter. It ruined the dish.

Food is always delicious. Only downside was due to school holidays we booked 3 days in advance and there were no tables available to eat outside :( Any whoo, food was gorgeous. 6ppl for our booking and we had nil complaints about food nor service. We also love BYO :)

Rude service. We were ten minutes late (we have 4 kids). They took 15-20mins to come near us, took our order. Entrees came out, kids took their time, no one said anything. When they cleared the entrees they said they’d start cooking our mains (their procedure not ours we would of been happy with it all at once). As they served the mains they said you have to be out in 15 minutes we have another booking. After 5 minutes of us eating they brought the cheque. No one ever mentioned we were only allocated an hour for the table. The manager refused to come out to discuss it with us, just kept sending very young staff to us to ask us to leave and they just kept saying it was all our fault for being 10mins late. Funny thing is locals next to us arrived after us, ordered after us and got served food well before us and no one ever asked...

WARNING FOOD POISENING My husband and I were so excited to try the thai given the night before was a 1.5 hour wait so we were assured it must be quality. We ordered takeaway a pad Thai and pad see ew and spring rolls. We ate it back at our cabin at about 6pm by 12am I had awoken with violent sweats and horrific sick feeling. I am 7 weeks pregnant so thought maybe I was having morning sickness. It was not until I heard my husband racing to the bathroom violently ill. It was all we had eaten that night so there is no doubt in our minds we had food posiening. I ended up in hospital on fluids and anti nausea medications while my poor husband was sick at home caring for our baby who luckily didn't eat any of the Thai. Will be reporting this!! Very disappointed and we are still unwell with fevers and not having eaten anything...
