Paragon Pizzeria — Restaurant in South West Rocks

Ordered pizza tonight at about 5.45pm, advised it would be ready in 2 & 1/2 hours (which seems to be pretty standard by the looks of previous reviews). We gave them the benefit of the doubt about this as it was school holidays AND a public holiday, however it actually took a further 10 minutes over the given ETA. Fortunately, we had read the other reviews at this stage and were aware of frequent delays so we called ahead to check to avoid waiting outside the store, so again, this was ok. The garlic pizza was delicious; the supreme pizza was decent but the pasta was pretty gross and most of it was thrown away. It would have been pretty good value overall if the pasta had been edible. So if you are only after pizzas and don’t mind waiting, then this place will do you just fine. Phone communication was good but in store communication and service was very lacking. We paid with eftpos and whilst doing this, the lady walked off, we waited for several moments to get confirmation that it had been approved etc but she never came back so we printed and took our own receipt from the machine and grabbed the food and left......

I recently ordered a Meat Lovers pizza, and while it was decent overall, I couldn't help but notice a major imbalance in the toppings. The pizza was absolutely overloaded with ham, to the point where it overwhelmed the other ingredients. I understand that ham is a staple of a Meat Lovers pizza, but this was excessive. If I wanted a ham pizza, I would have specifically asked for one.

The other meats were practically lost under the mountain of ham, which threw off the flavor profile I was expecting. A good Meat Lovers pizza should have a more balanced distribution of all the meats, allowing each to contribute to the overall taste. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case here. It wasn't a bad pizza, but it definitely fell short of my expectations due to the overwhelming...

Hot day and requested that they let me know when order was ready. They replied that they would. 40 min later I walk in and its just sitting there. I asked why they did not get me as they said they would and they said... oh well, called your name. They could not walk the 3 metres to tell me. I did not they for the locals they had no problem telling them.

Great pizza but louzy service or even caring about the people that keep them in business.

The saddest part is that my family and I was staying in South West Rocks for a further 2 weeks and we had already spent over $90 their. They could of got over $200 while we was there as my family loves pizza and...
