came here on 14th of april 2025 and we were really disappointed with the whole experience. we didn’t book a table but we were seated at a table fine. although the view from the table was looking at the drinks fridge. ordered and was told the wait would be 15 minutes which was fine and we were happy.

after waiting over 45 mins, my friend got her meal then another 20 mins goes by and still nothing for myself. if the food was going to take over 15 minutes, the silly staff shouldn’t have told us it would take 15 minutes. by this stage we had waited over an hour for our food. when i finally received my food, they got the order wrong. i had specifically asked for the sushi roll to not have an ingredient which they gave to me. i complained to the staff as after waiting over an hour for my food they still got it wrong. it was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. they then brought out another sushi roll which i had ordered nigiri. the staff were not apologetic at all and tried to say i was in the wrong and agreed to what they confirmed when ordering, despite myself being clear i wanted a sushi roll plate and nigiri.

the food was nice but was not worth over an hour of waiting. whilst observing the restaurant, i noticed other customers coming over to the staff for more water, as they couldn’t even do that.

the staff were more worried about drying the plates and cutlery then basic table service. not to mention, the overall restaurant was not overall flash either, more like a takeaway lunch place. the staff even tried to kick us out 30 mins before closing by vacuuming. i mean they already ruined our meal by giving it to us an hour later than expected but to then try hurry us out with vacuuming is actually outrageous.

the staff didn’t even give us the bill to check we weren’t overpriced for the item we didn’t order, so probs scammed us...

Very poor service. First off we got sat at a dirty table that they didn’t clean for first ten minutes of us sitting down even though at the back of the building there were clean tables. We got our nigiri delivered to our table and that was fine. Waited about 40 minutes for two servings of Udon Noodles, so we asked how much longer we’d have to wait and they said oh we don’t have any udon noodles today. We went to leave hungry and a frustrated, to find once we had got to our car that they had charged us more than what they should have. Arranging a refund was a long and painful process also. I came in last week for lunch on sunday (10th of august) and had very mixed feelings. My husband ordered sushi for him and my kids and it was very mediocre. The only things still going for the place is the server and the chicken karaage. He was helpful and kind and the chicken karaage was so good!
