The two things I look for in a cafe, how they make a flat white and how traditional is the Eggs Benedict. A flat white shouldn't have foam, at all. Any top restaurant will serve you a correct flat white, its just coffee and milk. I suggest you revise this. It's a proud Australian tradition after all. Eggs Benedict should be runny poached egg, hollandaise and a muffin or sourdough, the traditional recipe. Please stop putting Rocket and Spinach on Eggs Benedict. I'd rather have more bacon or mushroom if you must embellish. You got the sourdough spot on. The eggs were runny but one was broken before it got to me. I paid $18 to watch the gooey gold spill out. I got $9 worth of entertainment. The smokey paprika in the hollandaise was a nice touch. I could barely taste any smoke in the bacon from a plastic packet. Find a good butcher, they'll have a far better product for everyone to enjoy. My partner had the truffle and mushroom toasty. Hit the nail on the head there. Well proportioned, could definitely taste the truffle. Mushrooms were not overpowering in the dish. The mustard just right to dab into once or twice. The pickle didn't need to be there. A nice beetroot and balsamic relish might have complimented the mustard. All in all a good little find. Its dog friendly, good service. We were moved to a better table outside when it became available, much appreciated. If I'm staying in the area I might come back for the wagyu burger. The locals seem impressed and made to feel at home....

dropped in here on our way back to brisbane for brunch, the aesthetics are SO beautiful and the atmosphere was great; music, interior and atmosphere makes the perfect brunch vibes. all the staff were really friendly and the owner does amazing latte art !!

although the menu is on the smaller side, all the food we ordered was amazing and actually so cheap for what it is; boujee but for half the price of what you would pay anywhere else. the salted caramel milkshake was really good, not overpowering with sweetness and tasted like caramel popcorn. personally, I don't really like mushrooms but the truffle and mushroom toastie was SO GOOD. and the pistachio granola was crazy good, all the flavours tasted so good together and was quite refreshing to eat.

if youre looking for a cute, aesthetic, inexpensive brunch place, the milk bar is the place to go !!! wish we lived close enough to visit...

Dropped into The Milk Bar yesterday for brunch on our way home from Tin Can Bay. Totally awesome experience!

I ordered the eggs benny with bacon. The youngest got a danish. The eldest had the pistachio granola & my wife had the mushroom, truffle oil toasted sandwich. I had coffee, kids had a salted caramel milk shake.

This is a small coffee shop, but what they serve is next level. Everything we had was awesome, & each of us said we would have no hesitation in returning and/or recommending this coffee shop to friends.

The menu is not large, but it suited us. We would consider everything to be too reasonably priced - you would pay much more elsewhere.

Coffee was great too, with cute art added.

Staff are very friendly & helpful. Do yourself a favour & try this place...
