Black Fox Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Arrived before the crowds. Ordered from the table QR code separately to my mum. Both our food came out and her coffee but not my $8 iced coffee. I waited patiently for a little while because I do understand things can take time. After waiting a long time I then went up just to politely checked on it. The girl on the counter/ coffee station abruptly said “the order didn’t come through” I explained to her that I had ordered it from the table and can it please be put in a take away cup as we need to leave soon. She said again “the order didn’t come through” I showed her my receipt as proof of my purchase and she then told me she would make it now. Another 15 mins later (about 35mins in total waiting for this coffee) still nothing. While I was waiting I noticed about 4 other people experiencing the same issue that they had ordered and paid for something via the QR code and they had not received it. Time was getting on and we needed to leave. I respectfully asked that my coffee be canceled and for my money back. The same girl was very rude and just kept telling me that no order came through. I showed her the receipt AGAIN and said that this is the second time I have been up to check on this order that I had paid for. Third time we have tried to eat here. The last time the"chef had stepped out for a break" mid service. Finally today we returned and went to order. It was about 1030am. Ordered big breakfast and eggs poached with bacon and avocado. Advised they ran out of avocado. Asked for Turkish toast. Told they had run out of Turkish toast. I should have left there but decided to stay. The coffee was nice. My partners strawberry thicksake turned up with a thick layer of cream on top and fairy sprinkles?? Big breakfast was flawed with some sort of sticky balsamic glaze which they added to everything on the plate without being asked to. It was simply awfful! Similarly my over poached hard as hell overcooked rubbery eggs were also covered with this sticky balsamic awful glaze. Silently wishing we never wasted so much money on awful food low and behold the table next to us who arrived and ordered after us were served up smashed avocado when the told me they ran out??? Other tables were also served water when they sat down. We were offered nothing. Huge disappointment. With so many other beautiful spots and fresh food on offer give this one a wide berth. Run by kids trigger happy with whipped cream in a can and a bottle of balsamic glaze. Which went out of vogue...

One of the worst experiences ever! Food was okay but the service was absolutely terrible.

We ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 smoothies. Halfway through the meal, I asked a waitress if she could check on our smoothies. Nothing happened. 10 minutes later, I went up to the counter and asked when the smoothies would be ready, since we had almost finished our meals. The response was that they would make them immediately.

During the time we were eating, we heard so many apologies to clients: ‘So sorry!’ Over and over. Obviously others were also dissatisfied with the poor service.

I sat down and we finished our meals. We then went up to the counter to say that this service was totally unacceptable. By then, there was still no smoothies made! While we spoke to the manager, the girls working behind the counter were laughing.Also very unprofessional! We asked for a refund for our drinks and left never to return.

I strongly discourage anyone to go to Black Fox Cafe and Bar...
