picture this; it is your 3rd night in Moolooba, you have seen the places that scam, the mums pushing prams, and five star places calling you "ma'am". you are sick, you are tired. you crave nothing but a well priced meal, that will actually fill you and leave you satisfied. dare I say, with a drinks menu that is inviting. "maybe I'm asking too much" I mutter to myself along the beach shore, looking at the places to eat, past and present. you had researched for local places, just wanting a bowl of pasta. you looked near, and looked far. you decided on "far" - thinking it was worth it. 5 minutes into your "far" endeavour toy stumble across quarter deck. "oh" I think, "no harm in checking the menu". it ticks all your boxes, affordable, diverse, and pasta. you couldn't afford the number one best seller of pasta down the road, and their Michelin star meals wouldn't begin to fill the hole you now hear rumble. screw it. "do you have room for two?" I ask the young, assuming guy in the fluffy hoodie, just trying to keep warm in Qld's equivalent of "winter-eswue" weather. "we sure do, choose and I'll come to you." he says with efficiency and choice. you find the venue also has great ocean view seats, almost all vacant. the current constructions construct, but the clear wind barrier blinds are pleasing, as you also feel a chill. from then on, the cocktails were great, the food was fast, filling, generous, and delicious. the service was quick, efficient, humourous, and helpful. the night only got better...

Sadly didnt enjoy our night tonight, meals were not as nice as usual, seemed very overcharged compared to normal. Ordered a Pina Colada when it arrived I thought it was strange that it was Gray in colour, working in the industry I know what they look & taste like. This was horrible taste like chalky water, no Malibu/coconut cream or pineapple juice tasted at all. Tried to get refunded, I bought the 3 quarter full drink back to the girl at the front who had the nerve to tell me she "wont refund it just because I didn't like how she made it & that she made it correct " 😡 maby if she knew how to make one properly I wouldnt have complained. At $18 per cocktail they should be made properly. Even the guy behind me asked me what the drink was, when I said it was meant to be a Pina Colada he actually laughed. Good customer service would have been to care about the fact that i was unhappy with it, refund me, its not like i drank it all & tried to not pay, as it was infront of her she clearly seen I did not drink it. Will never waste money on drinks here again. She needs to learn a thing or 2 about customer service. In the end made me pay for it and I left the drink infront of her & left. Wont be back for...

We went here for dinner the other night and were very disappointed. We ordered a drink which came in the smallest glass size I had even seen. Then our mains came. The pasta was over cooked and fell apart. We also found a tomato core in the sauce. I ordered a steak to be cooked medium. When I cut into it it was definitely well done, not an ounce of pink. I politely asked a staff member if they could redo my steak. Moments later another staff member came out to say that the chefs had gone home. This was a maximum of 5 minutes after our meals were served. So I was told there was nothing they could do. They could refund me or if I wanted to eat it they could discount it 15%. This seemed very minimal to me given the only other option was no dinner. My side of ‘fresh steamed greens’ also came with an odd selection of off cut vegetables and what seemed to be the core of another unidentifiable vegetable.The food overall was bland and very average.
