Bulgogi Sisters — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

The food was incredible; fresh and tasty, the flavours were incredible, the helpings were generous, and the prices very reasonable. We are not locals and had browsed a nearby shop where the owner was eating their food and it looked great, so we decided to try it.

I stood at the front of the line, completely unacknowledged for 20 minutes, waiting to order, while other orders were getting filled. Several other people left in this time. A sign saying, "we'll be with you soon" might be good, if the owner can't manage. Ordered, then waited 25 minutes for the food, anxious that we didn't go over our parking time. The seating is minimal to cater to several businesses. There is nowhere to wait for your order. No where to sit when you get it. People were squeezing around each other to get to their shop, or their order. People were squeezed up against shops, allowing others to get through while they waited. No room. We were calm going in, and anxious coming out.

I can't understand the reviews that say the owner is friendly. I found her stressed and dismissive. Although I understand she was very busy.

I could not recommend this place enough. Christine is an extremely talented chef, making some of the best asian food i’ve eaten on the coast. The quality is always on point, she never misses. The prices are extremely reasonable considering the portion sizes. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but that’s because she makes great food and everyone wants it, definitely worth the wait! What an amazing little find! This little Korean bbq stall in Maleny lane is incredible and the best I’ve tried in the Sunshine Coast. I couldn’t believe the quality of food that was able to be made out of a small stall setup. I would expect this at a fancy restaurant but the dishes here are just as top quality as you’d find at a full restaurant.
