Their food are very nice and their drink also good. It's 10 of us and everyone satisfied with their meal. The lady who took order and served us was so friendly, chill, take a good care. However, there was one lady staff who have the dark golden hair (red hair) with piercing on the nose was very grumpy to us. She nod her head when we said thanks to her. Banged the cutlery on the table and also role her eyes at us. Every other staff were extremely nice to us plus the food was good so we still happy. Otherwise, the lady will ruin our day. I also work in hospitality so I cannot understand how or why they can give that kind of attitude to customers :))

Elliot's Bistro is an excellent little restaurant, serving up wholesome breakfasts that will fill you up by the beach. For a hearty breaky and coffee, it'll run you up around $25. All the food was excellent, but I think the atmosphere was missing that tiny something that is required for a perfect 5/5. Maybe if the tables were a little less sticky, or the waiters slightly less rushed, or the meals $2 cheaper, it'd be perfect. An excellent little bistro though, and a wonderful start to the day.

1. SERVICE: Water and menus arrived at our table without asking. The staff were attentive and had memorised the details of all 3 brekky specials. 2. FOOD: Yum. A great combination of food on the plate which looked and tasted amazing. Fresh, delicious. 3. SETTING: Nice location near the beach, comfortable mismatched furniture, popular but not too crowded.

On Friday 8th of August 2025 my husband and I popped in for a coffee. From the moment we approached I noticed the young girl with the tattoos creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, greeting what I can only assume were regular customers by name as they passed and calling out cheerful good mornings that made the place feel like home. We were served by the Canadian girl and her service was wonderfully personal and kind.

I went inside to personally thank them for such wonderful service and saw the whole team working together in the kitchen, full of laughter, smiles and genuine good humour. Really great place and obviously a place that locals adore. Not only was the food and service great but actually I saw something wonderful. There was an elderly lady wanting some breakfast. The waitress, Charlotte, engaged with this lady continually to ensure she was looked after well. She even asked if she should ask chef to cur the sough dough bread up to more manageable size pieces. Throughout the lady's time there Charlotte engaged with her in an amazing way. Another elderly customer was celebrating his birthday for his obviously daily morning coffee.
