We don't usually give reviews, but this place is an exception.

From the rude cashier to the over packaging then to them delivering half of our order wrong, it was a disaster.

We wanted two coffee frappes, one normal and one sweet. This was obviously too difficult for them. He wrote down one sweet, one not sweet. I should have walked out right then. I asked him to correct the order, 1 normal and one sweeter. He didn't like being told this. We also asked for one of the Easter egg cookies.

What we got was a very ordinary coffee frappe, a vanilla thickshake kind of thing which was in drinkable, and a chicken Easter cookie.

We bought another Easter cookie, the egg one then asked for a refund for the vanilla drink.

An argument started. We were told that we got what we ordered and that they put heaps of vanilla in the coffee. When I told him that we never asked for vanilla, a young girl entered the argument stating that we got what was ordered. I tried to get them to understand that sugar is what is used to make coffee sweet, not vanilla. This upset them more. So I just asked for my money back, which they did, but they were never apologetic or even seemed to understand they did something wrong.

There are much better places around, don't waste...

We found Beach Street for breakfast and checked the reviews and thought we would give it a go. Coffee was ok however an issue with finding a hair at the bottom of an the Beach Benny dish was not handled professionally. The wait staff member said they would let the manager know as we should only then pay for one meal. We said we would pay anyway but just wanted to let them know so that it didn't happen again. The dish was taken back to the kitchen and we went to the register to pay. At the register the chef/manager came to us in front of the counter and said can't find a hair in it. I pointed it out and he acknowledged the hair and then said well you me everyone out there (pointing at the store)has hair. I said well mate it was at the bottom of the dish under the food. We paid the store did deduct the cost of the mostly uneaten dish. However the confrontational attitude to a hygiene issue which we were happy to deal with respectfully...

The staffs are friendly.

We had one chai latte, one dirt chai and one ginger boost. All drinks are on the too sweet side for us. Maybe it's good for some people.

The location is great, just in front of the ocean, got street parking

We had three big breakfasts and one something different.

We all hope more green on the plate. We kind of get one spinach on each plate. Whole plate looks brown. My Sunnyside up's egg white still transparent, could be done a little more.

My friend's plate has a hair/ thick eyebrow thing, she found out in the end of her meal. It was under food. She didn't want to bother because it's...

Fantastic location, great menu and very tasty food. I had a BLT and chips and the BLT was a decent size and lots of chips included. Also had a coffee thick shake and didn’t even ask for it to be thick as is usually like it but it came so good and thick. Best I’ve had. Service was polite and timely. Would love the option to purchase a carry bag for takeaway (paper bag even) as baby quickly fell asleep in my arms and I struggled a bit getting home with the food.I asked for a carry bag and was told there was none and I was visibly struggling (left my bag at beach with family and going home alone with baby).

The food was great. The home made potato rosti was absolutely amazing! My wife loved her eggs Benedict with salmon and my big breaky was huge! Loved everything on the plate. Because of its close proximity to the beach though, it was hard to get a park close by so keep best to go at the quieter times. The service was a bit average at first but the second lady who spoke to us was nice.
