Read moreI had a wonderful time here with my boyfriend. We went to destress over a lovely meal and I thoroughly enjoyed mine. $20 for a smashed avo is generally a great price these days. While I did only have one slice, the toppings did a good job of satiating me perfectly. The balsamic on the plate was just the perfect amount, and came with some poached egg, grilled tomato and fresh avocado on sourdough. I opted for some bacon and caramelised onion which did cost extra but was worth it. They complimented it perfectly. I also had a chai milkshake which I went into not expecting it to be anything too special (chai has been a hit or miss at most places I've been) but it was so flavourful and delicious, it really had a great consistency and a decent size as well. My boyfriend had the chicken schnitzel and chips, opting for no salad and some gravy. While I will admit the gravy was rather small (I'd opt for 2 in future), it had a good flavour, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the chips had a lovely crunch to them that I haven't experienced elsewhere in quite some time. Our server was a lovely young waitress, Amelia, and I want to compliment on her service. We were greeted immediately upon entering, provided a booth with menus and she gave us the perfect amount of time to decide. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time and will definitely...
Read moreLiked this place, but left upset during one of my visits a few weeks ago. I would go here with my girlfriends on the occasional weekend but won't be going anymore. If you want passive aggressive staff who take your drinks away when you're not finished then go for it. They snatch menus away when you're not finished reading them. Aggressively I might add. They don't even say hello to us when we walk in. The female owner is rough and snatches your things away. Will be going to a different coffee shop now. Thanks Theodore's for making me feel upset when I was eating with my...
