I really hope the licensee of this venue realises the management that they trust their business with on a daily basis lack professionalism and the people skills required to be in the business they are in. Never in my professional career have I met someone as unreasonable as this manager with the disgusting attitude towards old people and a lack of ability to understand or even find an ounce of compassion to handle himself. I understand there may have been other circumstances that arose and that the 88 year old man involved may not have handled himself in the best way but to have a manager who is meant to be able to handle escalated situations in the environment he is in, I would be worried if the person was drunk or carrying a knife. To threaten the life of an 88 year old and frail man is a really unprofessional and low thing to do. You clearly had it out for him from the moment he pulled up outside your venue because you very clearly stated you did not want him there due to previous issues. Also stating you are not running a nursing home. I really hope that you don't have elderly parents or grandparents who are ever treated the way you chose to treat this man or god forbid you grow old to find yourself being treated the same way. Yes granted he may not have been fantastic himself but as a professional person in the type of role you are in you should handle yourself in a way not to continue to escalate a situation and ensure everyone stays as calm as possible. You must feel like a big man for threatening this man's life. To the licensee I would strongly suggest obtaining some training for this manager to be able to better manage stressful situations as he clearly needs it. An 88 year old man is of no threat to a young - middle aged man and if he felt threatened by him he needs to...
Read moreWe use to come here all the time, But one night my daughter ordered the childrens chicken schnitzel meal and got nuggets instead, I took it back to say there has been a mistake and the young girl who took the order was very apologetic and said she's told the chef they can't do this and they need to change the menu, they don't classify them as nuggets they are chicken strips I said but they are battered, not crumbed she said I know, She also said they wouldn't give a refund, because it's not there mistake even though I ordered chicken schnitzel and got chicken nuggets, The poor girl then said she has this problem multiple times a night but they still won't change the menu, It wasn't her fault, it was the Chef and management. The time after this the one taking our order got into an argument with me over the age of my Daughter who was 10 at the time saying I need to provide her ID for my daughter if not she can't eat off the kids menu the cut off age for the kids menu was 12 This was a while ago and we have never been back to eat.... The last time we drank here we ordered 2 scotches one with coke one with ginger 1 wild turkey with ginger, We didn't change our order once But Everytime we went to the bar they would give us the wrong drinks and then would give us attitude like it was our mistake, It felt like they were doing this on purpose We haven't been back since, There are plenty of other places to...
Read moreWent here with my family last year when they had the playground on the Thursday night. The female staff member told my family to control my son who is a toddler. We just walked in... He was behaving respectfully. We were deeply hurt by these comments as we went all the time. She was forgetful and couldn't even get my order right. One was also crawling around the sauce.
Also I go there occasionally for lunch for the special. The ice cream is $5 a bowl which is ridiculous. So expensive and their little sticky date pudding is $8. The young guy with the reddish hair and beard, little chubby, is also socially awkward. He forgot to give us gravy and he hounded us for $2. Most frugal waiter. He never makes us feel welcome even when we talk to him. And the main girl at the bistro with the nose piercing and black hair, tattoos, makes my brain hurt. She constantly makes mistakes and cannot get it right with the orders. She is always like, "wait, what?" Whenever you say something about your order. Tattersalls, you need new staff.
Tattersalls also treats you like alcoholic straight away. It's bizarre. The place is too expensive and they desperately need new staff at the bistro.
Also important to people who hate insects... we have been eating at our tables or getting sauce when a cockroach has crawled across the table. It's those tiny cockroaches you find in...
