Not a FODMAP-friendly place to eat. Putting that aside, I tried to find a dish with no lactose and not spicy by choosing the "ful mudammas". It wasn't pleasant to eat that mildly spicy combination and leave more than a 1/3 because it was covered in yogurt. It also had a chili, also not mentioned in the menu. Apart from all this, it was great. But probably not coming back. ---------- Hi owner, I genuinely appreciate the time and effort you invested in replying, I always enjoy that. It's like fuel for me to start a conversation. I'm glad you don't offer bacon, it has too much cholesterol (and personally I think it's overrated), although I remember seeing 2 eggs in quite a few dishes. After being told the onions couldn't be removed from the salmon I assumed the menu was quite strict and the feta/yogurt/etc in all the other dishes were sacred, so imagine my surprise when I found that big chili and that strange sauce on top of the food, plus the spicy stew, none of which were described in the menu. After that I realised it would have been a lost battle whatever that sauce was, so I imagined the worst (yogurt). I have seen the unhygienic atrocities that happen to new dishes coming from the kitchen when a client complains or tries to make a point about the menu's inconsistencies (so is it strict or not?); therefore, as a general rule I only struggle once before ordering alternatives (and the onions in the salmon was my limit). Not saying that this happens at your cafe, but I prefer to be on the safe side. I hope your monkey is OK.

My happy place!!!! A coffee oasis! The first thing I think about when I wake up is their coffee and the lovely warm greeting I always get !!!! The staff are extremely friendly!!! The food is super fresh, full of flavour and the servings are generous! I like that they have lots of tasty, healthy options. I’m impressed by their delicious vegetarian, gluten free and vegan choices. By far the best hummus in Sydney!!!! Must tries…….The Coffee!!!!!!!! Just the way I like it….. Sufficiently strong, creamy, perfect temperature……!!! I also love the banana and date smoothie (which is vegan) … the Shakshouka, (vegetarian) the hummus shouka (vegan), the avocado smash….. (vegetarian)…. if you want the world’s best choc chip cookie they are on the counter!!! Enjoy it all

Probably the best cafe in Randwick, the coffee and food are of the highest quality considering the small amount of space they work in! They are always warm and inviting, and the decor is one of the most unique I have come across. Their Shakshouka is literally to die for! Grab it also with a bowl smear of Labne or homemade Hummus. Jimmy on the coffee machine is not only amazing at making coffee, but a beacon of light in conversation when he greets you. Tom and Eli have curated amazing employees to work at this incredible venue, if you’re in Randwick this cafe has to be on your bucket list! It looks like they have just expanded next door as well just in time for summer! Good work boys!
