I spent quite a bit of money in the poker machines tonight one of the staff ask me to leave if I'm not playing they asked me to leave the premises refuse to get me a drink water the rudeness and roughness of this woman was grossly overbearing attacked me I've never been mistreated so poorly in my life all I was doing was working out how much money I had left to gamble.
It said to know that this waitress heard the conversation that I was homeless and living on the street. Just because some of the people that live on the street are homeless doesn't mean they don't work or still go to a job.
It was only a few years ago that covid wiped out the pub industry and the gaming The gambling last their jobs it seems that everyone has forgotten how easy it is to go from a comfortable house to the. streets.
From when I walked in two angels how to set on me from day one it said that a great venue like angel hotel was brought down by the Staffordshire attitude.
I do know that the venues have a right to ask people to leave if they're sitting at a pokie machine s.
But there was a whole heap of work collection now half of works want gambling and half at the weren't we're not drinking .
I have the public and will read this and do something about. I
Because just because a person Stihl tributes to the economy I was well-dressed plane and looking Sharp where in Calvin Klein jeans designer so I was looking the park and trying to fit in.
All I was trying to do was I was with one of the guys from I work functions involve me in your game on the pockets .
I'm just pissed off from Sega been treated like a piece washed up on the Shoreline.
But with that waitress if I washed up on her beach I'd be rubbish and trash.
All over great night angels and I hope...
Read moreCame on a friday with a friend after dinner, wanted to check out the whisky bar upstairs for a quiet drink, was not drinking prior and was being polite/patient and compliant with instructions, was told we had to wait 10 minutes by a very indifferent member of staff who was hardly paying attention.. No problem we waited and waited, until she got tired of looking at us i guess & told us to wait at the bar instead. We did and were promptly (and rudely) told by the young lady behind the bar not to stand there. So we ordered a drink and decided to grab a table as instructed. Surprise, surprise was never advised about a table upstairs after waiting much longer than '10 minutes' (closer to an hour at this point) so decided to finish our drink and leave. The aforementioned staff member who was meant to inform us of the table just muttered "byyeee.." as we left, on her phone and not even looking at us.
On the plus side the hotel is in a great central spot and had a decent selection even from its standard menu, would of liked to have rated the whisky bar but see above. Overall based on the hospitality and general unfriendliness, it left a very poor impression, so I can not recommend i'm sorry to say.
On a side note: I understand that it can be difficult to deal with people sometimes, especially on a friday and espeically who are drinking, but to display this level of, what seemed to me like resentment and entitlement to the point of treating people like that, just seems very wrong IMHO, it is an open door. In any case, I hope others have a better experience if they do decide to check out the...
Read moreLast night after having a lovely evening of dinner and drinks a group of 5 of us decided to finish the night with one last drink before heading home.
None of us were intoxicated. One gentleman in our group with an accent approached the door bouncer and the rest of us were a few steps behind. Our friend turned and said he was not allowed entry but the bouncer said the rest of us were ok to come in.
This gentleman who was denied entry was dressed in business attire and had less drinks than the rest of us, was not slurring or inebriated in any way. He was quite obviously denied entry due to prejudice.
When I asked for the manager I was told to keep walking but i had to push and ask over 10 times to speak to the manager. When she came out she was polite but said he had made a judgement call. I asked for an explanation as to why and he would not give one. Arrogant, God complex, prejudicial bouncer...who as we left let in a girl with Adidas pants with buttons undone up the leg who was obviously inebriated. This is obviously their clientele. Good luck!
This place is a joke! Wont ever step foot in or spend...
