Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, my wife and I chose the Caterpillar Club in Sydney for this milestone occasion, and it was a decision that led to an enchanting evening we will cherish forever. The moment we stepped into the club, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff enveloped us, making us feel celebrated from the very beginning. Though the food was pleasing and complemented our night, it was the club's vibrant atmosphere, exquisite drinks, and hidden marvels that truly elevated our anniversary celebration. The meticulously crafted cocktails and the ambiance set by the live music added layers of delight to our special night, creating a perfectly romantic and lively setting for our anniversary. The discovery of a secluded tiki bar was an unexpected highlight of our celebration. This hidden space offered us a private sanctuary where we could toast to our 15 years together in a uniquely intimate setting. The bartender in this tucked-away gem impressed us with their eagerness to craft drinks off the menu, showcasing a dedication to personalizing our experience that made us feel all the more special. Our anniversary night at the Caterpillar Club was not just a celebration of our 15 years of marriage but also a discovery of a venue that prides itself on exceptional service, a willingness to innovate, and the ability to create unforgettable moments for its guests. The food, while good, was just one element of our evening. The true essence of our celebration was captured in the joy of finding hidden treasures within the club, the personalized attention we received, and the overall atmosphere of warmth and exclusivity. In conclusion, our 15th wedding anniversary at the Caterpillar Club was nothing short of magical. The club provided us with a memorable backdrop to celebrate our journey together, marked by discovery, exceptional hospitality, and personalized touches. This venue is a testament to the idea that the best celebrations are made of moments of surprise and delight, making it a highly recommended destination for anyone in Sydney looking to commemorate a special occasion in a truly special way.

Moody Magnificent Memorable bar My reviews are about the whole experience not one aspect. Enter via a secret door and make your way down the stairs to heaven as the song goes. You will be in a collection of rooms with leather circular seating for 4, 6,8 and 2’s the round table making conversation for a group easy. The main feature of the venue is a long bar with seating for couples along a wall facing it or if it’s just you sit at the bar. Plenty of places to hid with your muse. The bar has the largest collection of records I’ve seen, a DJ plays these and does an amazing job. The decor is stunning, lighting moody and the whole place dimly lit which only add to its charm. We went during happy hour got there at 4 pm by 5pm the venue very full with happy hour finishing at 6. By the time we left 6.30 pm there was line of people trying to get in. The food is also happy hour and I recommend the chicken and the tuna melts. Many people ordered the burgers. Food good but obviously this is bar food. The main thing at this venue is the fantastic cocktail and drinks. I really liked this place mostly under 30 ā€˜s as it got later but earlier a mix of ages. People popping in from the offices on way home. Bathrooms beautiful and security staff really friendly. Try this place which is in Pitt street near Martin Place an easy walk from Wynyard train station. Live your local guide-Mā™„ļø Follow me for more reviews please.

Another Swillhouse venue that’s hit Sydney a few weeks ago and has already won the hearts of locals and many on social media. We went on New Years Eve and there was a quite long line but we got in after a 20 minute wait and… the service began right then and there with seccy’s handing out umbrellas as it had started to rain, love it! I’ve been looking forward to this place ever since they opened and was so excited to finally see it in person 🤩 First impressions were, it’s moody, it’s sexy, it’s elegant and an ASTOUNDING vibe. Once you enter through the large front door, then slowly walk down the luxurious carpeted stairs, you are greeted with booth seating and a longggg bar, a dance floor at the back and a vinyl DJ set up around the corner. I ordered a pinacolada, a strawberry daiquiri and fish fingers(2 pieces) and it came to $75(smth like that as I added 10% tip and it was 80 smth) which I think is VERY hefty but I did love everything we ordered and just the venue in general so that won’t be stopping me from returning šŸ™ƒ Also, I don’t even like fish but I ordered fish fingers (who knows why) and I reckon I could eat 6 of them… that’s how good they were. Definitely a higher end bar for drinks but an amazing venue and a great experience!
