we turned up on Saturday hoping to get lunch ! at that stage 4 of us but we were waiting for our friends to join us at 12.30 pm (another 4 ppl)when we got there , there were 3 ppl already waiting.then a few more turned up . it was 12.05 pm on Saturday! the door was closed .were waiting for it to open since they are supposed to be opening at 12 however ... the sign still said closed and the doors were shut .some young guy in a felt hat was walking around the restaurant obviously ignoring the ppl outside ! some of them got sick of waiting and left . so i think when you see ppl stand outside your restaurant , you go outside and tell them" we running a bit late but we will be opening shortly " i would expect that to be common courtesy .we would have been quite happy to wait .instead we all got ignored and eventually everyone left including us .i would also like to mention that the 8 of us are locals .so when you run a restaurant in a beach suburb that caters for tourists, who do you think pulls you through the quiet month of the year ? guess what ? its the locals that frequent your business . well , i don't know if the other 5 or 6 ppl came back .we didn't go back. we went to another restaurant .so by my calculation... with the 8 of us.... u already lost between 300-400 $ that day! and the other 6 ...if they didn't go back i estimate another 200$ or so. well if i were the owner , id be seriously concerned abt that .remember this ,you have a lot of competition around you and with rents they charge down there , you can hardly afford to loose local trade .i strongly suggest that you train your staff and educate them about how to handle this kind of thing ! because word spreads very quickly around the...

But I also ordered the zigeuner schnitzel. I went by the picture on Uber eats which shows mushroom sauce as itâs described as a pork schnitzel with mushroom, onion and bacon sauce but no mention of a red sauce or capsicum.
I called the restaurant, I had to repeat myself so many times. The person I was speaking to tried to explain to me that the dish is supposed to be that way. a little condescending actually. Itâs really irritating because - they apparently know the picture doesnât reflect what they send and neither does the description sound like what it is. I wouldnât say they were rude. Did show they couldnât care less when telling me Iâd have to get my refund through Uber eats....I do think itâs rude to school a customer of a dish that you have have described incorrectly

   Read moreI went to order lunch today. Not one customer in the restuarant. When I approached the bar the owner told me i needed to wear a mask. I told him i had an exemption. He said that didn't matter and he will not serve me unless I wear a mask. I repeated I had a medical exemption. He was very dismissive, rude walked away out of sight. I supported this business as a local for many years especially during lockdowns. And encouraged many of my feloow locals to support the busimess as its usually very empty looking and times are tough in the hospitality industry. I will never ever buy from there again. Such ignorance and stupidity goes beyond me. I am discriminated for not wearing a mask??? And refused service??? What sort of businees refuses customers... for not wearing a 'mask'???
