Came here for bottomless brunch for 4 pax on a Saturday. To start we had 1 burratta, some bread, and some antipasta. Issue here is. When I booked a table for 2 at bottomless we also got the same amount of food. The mains - pasta, broccoli and a side of chips. Seeing if they would continue with serving the less than adequate amount of food.. and yes they did. For 4 grown adults, please see what was serves as a main in the photos. For dessert between 4 adults. You guessed right. They came out with 1 chocolate brownie and 1 scoop of ice cream to share. When asked about serving sizes. We simply asked why do bookings with 2 people get the same amount of food as we did today with 4 people. The staff responded... simply because most of the time people don't finish all the food. Last time I checked, if I pay for the food. It doesn't matter what I do with it. I can feed it all to the dog if I wanted to. They have admitted to short-changing us in terms of portions simply because others "don't finish the food". The food was very bland, pasta was overcooked and ragu underseasoned. Cauliflower was also bland with a very sad looking cheese melted over it. The design of the restaurant is like an echo chamber. You need to yell over one another to be heard. With all this said - I would not be reccomending this place unless you like being loud and obnoxious with very average standards for food. Unfortunately, I would not even say it's good value.

We came here for my mates birthday and did the bottomless brunch with cocktails (cosmos, margs..) the manager took one look at me, didn’t let me speak and said “I know which table you’re looking for” and directed me to the wrong table on the other side of the room, coincidentally where a group of all aussie asians were as well…the bar team and waiters were friendly and pleasant, the cocktails were strong even though service was slow. I wouldn’t come here for the vego sourdough pumpkin spread, the dried falafels, the pesto pasta was okay/edible, the fries were good, but menu overall for bottomless brunch was underwhelming. Mid brunch some of the lights above us turned off. There are only two toilets for the whole venue which had a constant huge queue. Then we had trouble with payment as my mate paid the $20 cocktail package pp prior. I think bottomless brunch for $99pp was worth the strong cocktails, but I wouldn’t come here for the food

Recently booked a hens event here and had such an incredible experience. Although we were let in slightly later than the booked 15 minutes to set up this was easily made up by how incredibly accomodating and helpful the staff were. They took all of our setup props in for us, offered to help setup, they cross checked our personally designed menu matched their most updated menu and throughout the whole experience made sure the bride-to-be was well looked after, as-well as the whole table. Drinks were promptly filled up, cocktail range was delicious, and food portions and quality was perfect! So delicious! To top off the amazing event the fresh flowers set along the table were absolutely stunning, and I would highly recommend if anyone has an event to book in the additional choice to have Bar Nina set the table with fresh flowers as it made a stunning impact to the table decor (not to mention the fact you get to keep them after!)!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, both in terms of food safety and quality. I visited Bar Nina last night with friends and chose the $89 Bottomless Menu. I have a nut allergy (anaphylaxis) and mentioned it both in my booking and directly to the waitress upon arrival, as the burrata on the set menu was listed with pesto. The waitress assured me my allergy was noted, and I assumed this meant the pesto would be removed or substituted. However, the burrata was served with pesto. My friends tried it and confirmed it had chunks that likely contained nuts, so I didn’t eat it. This was incredibly distressing as if I did eat it, my life could have been at risk. This negligence left me extremely anxious to try the other dishes on the bottomless set menu other than the beef ragu and hot chips. And there was no point in me bringing this up with wait staff as they would only come to our table every 5 business days. With that in mind the service was chaotic, with the restaurant extremely busy, loud and staff running around like crazy. Because of the slow service, we missed out on at least two drinks each within the limited time of the bottomless menu. My friends also mentioned the remaining food that I was too scared to eat was awful. As an Italian, I almost fell off my chair from disgust when I tried the beef ragu. It tasted like sink water and I wish I was joking, it wasn’t saucy there was just a clump of meat and other random bits that could’ve been tomato but who knows, it was chucked on top of the pasta so we basically just had a slither of meat and stuck together undercooked pasta ( it wasn’t Al dente, it was basically not even cooked. They should’ve just not even bothered boiling the pasta as that’s what it tasted like). It was so flavourless I wish I was kidding when I say there wasn’t even salt on the pasta, for a second I literally thought I had covid and had 0 taste, the experience was basically the same. You would get more flavour from a cruskit then that pasta. The drinks were also gross and extremely watered down.

This place is so overpriced, careless, and not worth the money. I honestly don’t understand how it’s rated highly by anyone. Highly recommend spending that money elsewhere, I still feel sick from whatever sink scraps they served us last night. Extremely...

A group of about 10 of my friends and I attended bar Nina on Saturday for a 25th birthday celebration, where each of us had paid $90 for the bottomless drinks and food packages. My friends and I arrived quite dressed up and very much looking forward to an intimate dinner experience. Upon arrival, we realised the bar was backing on to the Darlinghurst street party which was being held on the same day. Bar Nina did not inform us that the event event was being held on this day, or that it would severely impact the quality of services delivered to us that night.

The music in bar Nina was turned up extremely loud so people out in the street could hear it - so loud that it actually created quite a stressful environment for guests who were seated inside the restaurant. All of the drinks served to us on the night were in plastic disposable cups, and since the bar and waiting staff were so busy providing additional services to cover other demands of the street party, the staff were only able to attend to our table very infrequently. My friends and I had ordered a round of drinks on 4 separate occasions, of which did not arrive for 45 minutes after enquiring with staff about their whereabouts on several occasions. Once the drinks did arrive, on nearly every occasion the drink order was wrong. As a result, some of the girls on our table received a total of 2 drinks over the duration of the evening - this was especially frustrating as we had paid for the ‘bottomless’ drinks service and did not at all feel we had received a service congruent with what we had paid for.

The bar was also allowing patrons from the street party to use their toilets (noting there was a total of 2 toilets within the restaurant). As a result, the wait line as a consistent wait of approximately 20-30 minutes. Not only this, the toilets were extremely filthy - dirt, urine and vomit on the ground, with used napkins lining the floor which had been used as a substitute of toilet paper because the toilet paper had run out.

Whilst I can appreciate the unusual circumstances and that the restaurant may not have been able to foresee how busy they would be on this night, I feel extremely disappointed with the experience. I also wanted to acknowledge the waiter was doing the best he could with the limited resources available to him...

I recently celebrated my birthday with a group of six at bar Nina, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite making a reservation a week in advance for 8pm, our evening was marred by a series of disappointments that overshadowed any potential enjoyment.

Upon arrival, we were seated at the only table outside, near the bins, in freezing cold weather, with no heater in sight. The excuse given was that a last-minute function had taken up space indoors, leaving us with the only available table outside. While our waiter, Max, was attentive and lovely, his efforts couldn't compensate for the discomfort caused by the cold temperatures and wet chairs. It took a full hour before we were finally relocated indoors.

However, the transition indoors didn't improve the situation. The restaurant was chaotic, resembling a jungle with loud functions dominating the atmosphere. The cleanliness of both the establishment and the bathroom left much to be desired, with long queues (20-30 minutes) adding to the frustration. The food, bottomless dinner menu with an additional drinks package for $89, was not only average but quite scarce. Despite it being bottomless dining, there wasn't a lot of food to go around and we were unable to order additional servings. Even the dessert, a simple brownie, arrived cold and hard. Considering the price, this level of quality is unacceptable. I have probably never experienced anything so bad and disorganised.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing. While I commend Max and the other staff for their efforts in making the best of a bad situation, the overall state of the restaurant and its offerings fell far below expectations. Definitely won’t...
