Coffee it's always great and the waffles probably one of the best you will find around Manly. The food is ok, depending on who is working on the day quality do change a lot. All the times I've been here I had the eggs on toast, the bacon egg roll and scrambled eggs on toast. Last time we order the scrambled eggs our order took a long time and when arived it was the wrong order. They apologized and went to the kitchen again when the eggs finally arrived it was a disaster. I said "sorry this is not a scrambled eggs" but the reply I got it it was "that is how we do". I’m sorry but if you screw up with my order and served something that I am not happy about it I expect a better answer. So yes I will go back for coffee or waffles but I wouldn't go back...

Nice little coffee shop, and close to the council car park I use most often in Manly.

They do Toby's Estate, which is decent enough coffee for most, though I know a few high-end snobs who turn up their noses at it. For most of it, it's quite good.

This is a tiny little coffee shop, and most of their business is takeaway. There are a few low stools ringing the small single room but those are mostly taken by people waiting for their takeaway coffee. And it's down a side street, so it's not like you've got a great view anyway if you stay.

Staff are very cheery and pleasant.

I think they have pastries and munchy things too, but to be honest I've only ever had a coffee to go, which is what this place is...

This tiny cafe is popular with the locals as it serves up one of the best coffees in Manly - they do a mean waffle too! Tourists won't stumble across it easily, as it's a slight detour from the beach, corso or wharf. But it's worth it for a quick take away caffeine hit, whipped up from two friendly baristas. There's only seating for a few people, so don't plan on settling in for a long overdue catch up with a friend here. Only downside is the 'one size fits all' coffee cups - no large...
