We came here for a family dinner and sampled quite a number of dishes from this restaurant. We ordered their signature Beijing Duck but was a bit disappointed with the skin which was not crispy at all. The deep fried barramundi with sweet and sour sauce was tasty but the fish was not as crunchy as we would like. My favourite dish was actually the sweet black vinegar pork ribs that had a really good balance of flavour. Overall, the food here was competent but their signature dish really did not shine. Service was above average for a Chinese restaurant as the owner was very friendly.

Decided to spoil ourselves and got peking duck for dinner. The roast duck set cost $68 and when sliced, you get 2 plates of just duck skin, duck meat with skin and just duck meat. I like how they offer just skin however it would be better if they put the skin on top of all the meat as it went soggy and lost most of its crispiness being at the bottom. There was a generous amount of cucumber, leek and pancakes to go with it. Overall it was a great way to spoilt yourself and I would recommend trying the peking duck here.

Was looking for Beijing Duck in the area and decided to give this place a try. Staff are friendly and with a basic cleanliness and decor of a neighbourhood Chinese restaurant. Although it says Beijing, the way which the duck came reminded me more of the Southern Chinese style. The skin wasn't really crispy either. The stir fried noodles didn't look to appetising and had extra cost. Overall it's okay, but it's not really authentic - Northern or Southern Chinese style roast duck.

I strongly doubt that this restaurant had changed the owner. We used to be regular customer, but we went there last night, it's nightmare. The skin of Peking roast ducks (we ordered two) were soft and chewy, not crunchy. The ducks tasted awful, got slightly poultry glands taste. The other dishes we ordered, not good as before, only a eggplant dish tasted ok. The duck liver tasted scum, not smooth. I didn't see the owner slice ducks for us, he always do, so I think the restaurant has changed the ownership, and the chef is not professional. I will never come back. I even didn't mention the bad...

This restaurant has been a cherished favorite of ours in the past. However, our recent visit will likely be our last. The Beijing Roast Duck's skin was excessively tough, either poor cooking or we got an aging duck. All dish portions were noticeably smaller than before. The presence of flies was persistent and bothersome, dare not to think about kitchen. Both the waitress and the owner seemed less friendly than in previous experiences. While I do understand the huge effort of operating a Chinese restaurant, I found myself unable to fully enjoy the evening....
