Bene and Co — Restaurant in Sydney

We are visiting from Los Angeles and staying in North Sydney. We were looking for somewhere to go on a Sunday night and found Bene and Co online. We happened to get there a little earlier than we would normally have dinner and there were plenty of of tables, but most filled up before we left. I e were rather hungry, so we ordered the garlic bread, puff bread and calamari for starters. The garlic bread was nicely toasted with enough garlic to make it satisfying. The puff bread was a steamed flat bread served with balsamic vinegar and oil. We love bread and loved both. The calamari was some of the best we ever had, tender with a light crunchy batter. For mains, my husband wanted spaghetti with bolognese sauce which they didn’t have on the menu, but the owner offered to make it for him anyway. I had the cheese and spinach ravioli. Both were amazing. Before we left we had a minute to speak with the owner and cam to find out that they had only been open for 10 weeks. We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bene & Co. on their opening night and we were so impressed. The food was incredible. The carbonara was creamy and rich, the calamari fritti perfectly cooked, and the garlic prawns full of flavour. The pizzas were also a standout with beautiful, stretchy cheese, a great crust, and just the right amount of topping. Even the freshly squeezed apple juice was a hit with our kids.

We visited as a family with two little ones and some colleagues, and the service was honestly next level. So warm, accommodating and genuinely friendly. The team made great conversation and made us feel really welcome. The ambiance was lovely, too. Relaxed and stylish but still family friendly.

We are stoked to have a new restaurant like this in the neighbourhood. It’s right between home and work for us and we can already see ourselves becoming regulars. Well done to the whole team at Bene & Co. We can’t wait to come back soon! Laura, Ben, Levi...

I visited this Italian pizza restaurant during my trip to Australia, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The pizza was simply amazing — perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and that authentic Italian flavor you can rarely find outside Italy. Every bite felt like a piece of art. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. You could really feel their passion for good food and genuine hospitality.
