I am disappointed to review a negative review about Blu Brew Cafe. I have been coming here for 4 years. I live in Darling Square, but I choose to walk to Redfern for coffee and sometime food at Blu Brew. I did just that today, checking the trading hours which indicated the place closed at 3:30pm. I arrived at 2:55pm, waited 10 minutes to find out that the one of the two working the cafe was too busy collecting tables and closing too serve me. While I received a perfunctory apology, I found it insincere. So I left without ordering anything. My recommendation is that the cafe displays signage that specifies take away only after a certain time or close at an earlier time. Itās not the end of the world, but I feel like my patronage was unappreciated during a time when Redfern needs continued good service during lull in trading for local business.
I sincerely hope Blu Brew Cafe returns and maintains the high standard I have been blessed...

Despite its modest size, the food served here is nothing short of exceptional and offers great value for money. It's no wonder this hidden gem is a buzz. From the first bite to the last, every dish exuded flavors reminiscent of a bygone era, making it a delightful departure from the ordinary. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch or just a smooth coffee the cafe's small yet thoughtfully curated menu promises a delicious experience that shouldn't be missed. I highly recommend adding it to your list for your next brekkie or...

My coffee order wasn't even given to the barrista as time was passing and I was halfway through my meal and the barrista and waitress were just chatting away. No sincere apology was given at all, at least a "sorry about that." Food was good but the service is sloppy and I feel like the workers need to love their job abit more, as its showing. Don't under estimate anyone walking in isn't a valuable customer. You can do...
