The traditionally flavoured cannoli are quite nice but it's the opening hours that make this place so inconvenient. Only open for a few hours a day closing too early and open too few days. They have no phone and therefore no answering machine with a message advising opening hours. Have driven all the way there several times only to find them closed when Google stated they'd be open. Closed all of January not even open for New Year's Eve during the day but no way of checking. Won't bother again until they improve their service. Sick of businesses that do this sort of thing.
Just letting you know that I don't know how the review was updated/reposted six months ago. I don't recall doing anything to make that happen. I tried to find another way to reply to you but there appears to be no reply option, so I'm now editing the review to let you know that there must have been a glitch in the system as I didn't repost.
28/3/2025: As per above, this has happened again and again, I didn't repost or do anything to my original post to make this happen. My original review was from quite some years ago and when you were based in South Hurstville. I have no idea as to why this post keeps updating. If you see this again, please ignore it. Google has...
Read moreLocated at Shop 3/5 Belgrave Street, Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. Edit - Because I love the taste of these Cannolis, I have returned here ( I come past a lot on my way to the hospital 🏥) . I don’t return for the service because it continues to be lukewarm. 🤷♀️😋 The place to come to for freshly made Cannolis. I got a box of four small ones for $13.95 which I thought was pretty reasonable but what I had a problem with was that I was only allowed to get two flavours from all that was available because according to the staff, it takes too long to prepare the different individual flavours. If I wanted to get more flavours, I would have had to buy the box of 8. It’s like forcing you to spend more money. If I am going to buy 4 or 8 or whatever, I want to get however many flavours I want that are on offer. Also the big sign advertising the different flavours, the lady said there was only limited flavours available. False advertising. The staff were ok, not really friendly though. Other than that, it’s a nice little shop, offering lovely gifts and fresh coffee. Average...
Read moreWow! Great Cannoli's! These are piped fresh when ordered, so be prepared for a little wait. They look as good as they taste. The owner is super friendly, great to have a conversation, but have to also be aware that there are also customers waiting in the queue outside the shop. Currently, due to COVID restrictions, only 1 family inside the shop at a time as it is a very small shop.
No real sit down to eat, only 1 or 2 small tables inside, it is pretty much pure takeaway. The Cannoli's come out like you'd see on the instagram photos, but if you eat them relative soon after purchase, the pipes are still nice and crunchy. Lots of different flavours too!
This is fairly hard to find if you don't know the area, as the shop has "architects" written all over it, so you have to look inside to see what it is. It is worth the travel if you are not in the area, but check their opening times as they are not always open.
