Complaint about George at Central Grounds Espresso Bar! This is a serious complaint about George (bald man with glasses) and something needs to be done about it immediately as it is extremely disturbing. On a few occasions now (at first I thought it was a one off so ignored it), I have had the absolute horror and displeasure of entering the male bathrooms near Tosca Seafood shortly after George, who I always find at the urinal with his shirt pulled up and his trousers and underwear down around his ankles, meaning that from about rib cage down to his ankles, he is completely naked exposing himself to whoever is in eyesight. Not expecting this when you walk into the bathroom is mortifyingly disturbing and disgusting. He clearly knows what he is doing and happily looks around while he is exposing himself. Absolute filth! As known, Hurstville Central is a very busy centre with schoolchildren regularly frequenting the area and this type of behaviour from George is abhorrently unacceptable and borderline criminal as indecent exposure. It has also been noticed that he doesn’t wash his hands which is highly unsanitary. As a matter of urgency, this type of behaviour simply cannot continue. Read moreI used to get coffee every time I’m in the area. However, this place has been a continuous disappointment.
The coffee used to be made by the owner and it was the best coffee I’ve had. However, there are so many different baristas now and the coffee made is no longer consistent. I only get coffee here when I see the owner behind the machine these days.
Another disappointment was when I dropped by late afternoon one day. There were 4 staffs just chatting away. The lady behind the cashier took my order and passed on the order. They continued chatting away while the barista made my order. They made me the wrong drink even though I was the only customer.
The last straw that prompted me to leave this review is when I dropped by at 4.30 to find the cafe already shut. If this had been a planned change in closing hours, the hours could be updated to prevent an inconvenience. If this was unplanned, then I reckon the cafe is just going downhill.
