this was one of the best fried chicken burgers i've ever had btw, crispy af coating and juicy chicken, and a mildly spicy sauce dripping outta that soft milk bun 🍔 hungry yet?

the sticky date pancakes were also such naughty, thiccc, buttery slices of heaven 🥞 the strawberries give a burst of freshness amid the sticky, sugary stack, but i could just drown myself in that decadent sauce 🤤 the pancakes themselves are not dense at all but do become soaked and heavy in the sticky date caramel which tbh i ain't complaining about!

@therustyrabbit also does a mean matcha latte, not bitter at all which i was hella surprised by 💚 def give their drink menu a go! the staff here are also soo friendly and accommodating, i felt so welcome and comfortable 🥺

Be careful!!! The cafe charges above what is stated in the menu at their front counter. A small latte is supposed to be $5, but they charged me $5.57. On another occasion I ordered a breakfast wrap and small latte which was supposed to cost $17 (i.e. $12 and $5 respectively), but was charged $19.81. There is no visible notice for surcharges on their menus and no notice about credit card surcharges at point of payment. Therefore there is no reason to explain the difference in the advertised price in the menu and the amount charged. This overcharging is in breach of the Australian Consumer Laws and is unlawful. You are better off going somewhere else and avoid being dishonestly...

I really enjoyed this place. The food is wonderful, there’s lots of variety; and even though I understand my dietary needs make me the problem, they were more than happy to cater for them.

What I appreciate most of all, however, is the staff and their patience. I was being run off my feet, I’d only had 4 hours of sleep, and I had to conduct an ad hoc conference over my phone for 20 minutes. They gave me the space to do my thing before coming to take my order.
