Chicken V Eastwood & Busanjip — Restaurant in Sydney

The owner deleted my previous review so im reposting..

Very poor communication from staff. We ordered the half and half chicken and the korean ramen which are 33 and 13 respectively. We were were informed that the half-and-half chicken did not include some of the flavours that we requested so we modified our order according to these restrictions. We had asked AND CONFIRMED with our waitress that it was correct and she put our order in which was not the order we requested.

We were then charged $53 and not knowing that this was incorrect as we thought we got the half-and-half chicken and the ramen (instead we were charged 2 half chickens and ramen (20 +20 +13)), we paid without checking. As expected, this factor completely ruined our experience.

So to anyone who is going to dine here: check your bill before blindly paying as the staff do not have good english. There have also been previous reviews saying that the menu prices are wrong and they were also overcharged and that the menu did not include GST prices. I was also told by the owner that it was "wrong to eat well and write a review like this".

To the owner: sorry, to your disappointment I am entitled to the way I feel, my opinion and my view. Also, your staff need further training to communicate with...

Atmosphere: Chicken V has a lovely late night, low exposure ambience. Since it's newly relocated, the decor is modern and super aesthetically pleasing!

Service: The female staff we had was so kind and even gave us extra cheese sticks as service

My husband, father in law and I went there for dinner tonight. We ordered fried chicken (half traditional, half soy), cheese sticks, rice ramen and some drinks. The food was delicious, waitress service was nice and the place is comfortable and cozy. We had to split the bill before we went to pay at the counter so we already knew how much the total was. BUT... at the counter the total was different; of course higher. We asked the waitress what was the reason, (the details were in Korean so we had to check everything with her) and she said it was because the menu was old and the prices are different now... imagine all the people that pay without even looking at the details? To the owner: CHANGE YOUR MENUS AND UPDATE THE PRICES IN IT, BECAUSE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG AND ILLEGAL 😡 Our whole experience in this restaurant was ruined...
