I was short for time and already getting hungry. I was craving for Pork Back Bone Soup so I ordered a take away of it plus I also added their Spicy Beef stir fry. This is my first time ordering these two dishes from this restaurant, it seems like it is family owned and run by them too. When I got home, and opened the meal, I was really surprised at how they were well packed, it almost seemed like what they would appear if I had ordered them and dined in..
I love the taste of their pork bone soup and their beef stir fry, it just hits home, super yummy and heartwarming, they did not skimp on ingredients, I like that the soup is up to the brim of their bowl, they have the right amount of fresh veggies and meat and perilla seasoning.. it tasted like something my mom would cook for me at home if I needed something nourishing. Thank you to the people that prepared these amazing food. I was so tired today but I am super happy with what I ordered. This will be my go to place now for Pork backBone Soup and beef stir fry. Oh and not to mention their side dishes tasted fresh too which is often very rare when you order a...
Read morethree stars only for food as it is satisfactory.
however, the thing that makes me not want to return and lets this place down is the customer service.
no acknowledgement from anyone when you walk in. even worse, you get the sense they are deliberately ignoring you because they are flat-out busy and don't want any more customers during peak lunch time period.
it's a small restaurant with only a number of eat-in tables and they only had two servers working the floor. i don't want to be rude but one of them - the younger man - looked like he was sleep-walking or half asleep. a zombie. there's no question that they were both busy but it's not a good impression.
i don't think i will be back but not because the food is bad. the food is satisfactory to good. rather, the reason is due to poor customer service. i think they need to either be better organised during peak lunch period or hire another person during...
Read moreWe recently came back to this old Korean restaurant for dinner. We used to have lunch here long time ago for their spicy pork and seafood pancake. However, this time we tried something we haven't tried i.e. the tendon soup + rice set and fried flounder fish + rice set. Both dishes are good and quite healthy option for dinner. The portion size is quite generous for the price and it came with free banchan or side dishes as custom in Korean restaurant. We like the side dishes as well.
The place is quite small so cannot expect much ambience, but at least it is reasonably decorated. The service from staff member are quite good for a small casual place in a suburb like Eastwood. Prices on the menu are competitive within the area / suburb. You can pay with usual credit cards (V / MC) with no surcharge if you spend more than $25, which is a good customer...
