—edit— I came another two times after first visit - food simply too good to resist. And both times the service were lovely(different waitress from first time). Seems like just one particular waitress being unpleasant. Every other staff are nice. Therefore I’m moving the rating to full 5 stars now. I have very mixed-up feeling about this place. On the one hand, food is great. Deep fried chicken is juicy and crispy, and black bean noodle with whole squid is delicious - as good as you could get in Korea. And good portion for the money. On the other hand, there is no service whatsoever. I get it - service is never the strong suit for Korean/Chinese restaurant, and they are busy, and one waitress covers the entire venue. I get it. But interaction, or lack of, with restaurant staff does affect how you enjoy your meal. And I couldn’t help but feel that you’d get better service if you speak Korean… Still, very good food. So I may return for takeaway next time.

The food was good. I am sure I will come back to them. The one thing a bit down is, they registered the wrong order on my takeaway pack at the counter. I ordered the pork and sour fried port regular size, which I believe the price is $30. I got charged $38 and the receipt inside of the takeaway bag showed totally different order. As I just found this after arriving at home, I felt so buggered to claim this🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess it's just a random mistake that happens to me unfortunately 😃 other than that, the food was good. If you wanna try the korean-chinese style food around Hills, I definitely recommend this shop.

It’s not the best Korean Chinese restaurant in Sydney, but it might be the best in Castle Hill. You’ll find a lot of fancy food franchises in Castle hill and Chois Kitchen is the last standing Korean restaurant. Their Jjajangmyun was ok and putting the whole fried squid on top was quite unique. It had more sauces than noodles and that was quite odd as well. We had to ask for more noodles and I was worried that it may not make it to the table. Chili garlic fried chicken was not so good but it might be the best I can get in Castle hill. For these reasons I give this place 3 bears

I’m so sorry to write a bad review but the service at our dinner last night was absolutely chaotic. They all seemed like lovely staff (hence at least the one star) and were trying really hard but there didn’t seem to be a system at all! They were just running back and forth up and down cleaning tables before taking orders, offering sides to all the tables before serving. When we finally managed to flag down a waitress, the young girl who took our order seemed surprised we were asking her and seemed so unsure of the menu (we should have known at that point). After what seemed like ages we realized they forgot our drinks completely until we reminded them twice, and when it finally came it was all wrong (Coke instead of Fanta, the large beer instead of the small size etc). Half the order for the table came very very late so we had the chicken but no rice (a travesty!)

The food overall seemed nice I will give them that, but because we were waiting for so long for the sides, that the mains ended up cold and not as fresh and overall kind of ruined the vibe. I’m sorry but we won’t be returning. It was very expensive, chaotic and just not very good. Hopefully this will help the staff improve on the way...

If you're after Korean food packed full of flavour but for good value, this is the place for you.

The Korean fried chicken was incredibly crispy, flavoursome and well seasoned yet, so juicy and tender. What more could you want from Korean fried chicken...it certainly puts a particular three letter fast food chain to shame. Perfectly matched with some beer or Soju and you're in for in for a feast.

The Jajangmyeon was delightful. Chewy noodles with plenty of flavoursome Blackbean sauce, perfect to slurp up all those noodles.

The spicy seafood noodle soup...yep...it was spicy alright. Bring a bottle of Gaviscon or have some peppermint tea handy afterward - you'll need it. That aside, it is a massive serve suited for two people. It could have come with more seafood but the flavour of the soup was delicious.

It was very pleasant having good Korean food so close to home. Usually the Mrs and I have to travel closer to the city.

Highly...
