Came here over the weekend. The whole chicken was incredible, the chicken skewers were devoured by my boys. Chips only came in one size for dine in, which was frustrating as the takeaway family size would have been perfect. Dips were nice though! Service was at the window, and a lovely young lady brought plates/cutlery and food. Although I was slightly annoyed that I only 3 pita breads were given, when there were 4 of us. Also strange we were never checked in on, even though we were 1 of 2 groups eating in at the time. Atmosphere was weird, song play list kept alternating between Lebanese and western. Was very strange listening to Abba then a middle eastern song. Unfortunately the biggest let down was that's out of the 4 of us, 3 of us had to fight for the bathroom at home due to some.. Fast bowl movements that was brought on (presumably) from the food. Unfortunately ruined what was generally a nice night out, and what is reflected in the scores. Probably won't be coming here for a long while.

Nice to have close parking (out the back) in Castle Hill. Unusual set up between Takeaway and Dine in though - wasn't sure where to go. Dined in and wasn't super hungry so just ordered a few entrees between us. The garlic and cheese bread was great. The cheese sambosek was ok - and the lamb filling tasted pretty authentic. While I am assured in the response below that these are fried fresh, they aren't as crispy or crunchy as I would like - but that is personal preference. This was also the case with the fried bread that came with hummus - I probably should have requested plain bread instead. The hummus was good but I prefer more flavour. They we kind enough to allow us to take the leftovers home for our teenager (who isn't as fussy as me) Points for atmosphere and service. Hopefully I might try something chargrilled or their chicken next time to provide a better report.

This is a great place for some Lebanese food with excellent service, glad I was recommended here. We dined in on a early Sunday evening to avoid the rush, we ordered a Vegetarian platter (they were happy to swap one thing) & the meal deal with half a chicken & chips along with some Lebanese coffee. The only downside was the salad & tabouli had too much lemon which wasn't edible. The garlic sauce was great (more garlic flavour than creamines). Atmosphere was pleasant as there were a few groups dinning in & service was top notch. If you like chicken salt like me, the chips are for you!

Firstly - I want to start by saying the below experience is not the most recent issue we have had with this place. However, the quality of their food generally got them over the line. From running out of chicken multiple times by lunch, to there exceptional wait times and rude staff - we were willing to let that go. That was until Christmas Eve. Mind you, we order from this place probably twice a month, and in decent quantity.

Anyway - We placed an order online, stating the pick up time at 7pm on Christmas Eve. We had dinner plans of 20+ adults to celebrate this wonderful time of the year. We received confirmation that the restaurant had received the order (screenshot on hand to confirm). We arrived at the store at 6:30 pm, to be on the safe side, expecting them to be busy. We were greeted by the cleaner who said they were closed, and there was no order for them to pick up. They apparently closed at 5 pm. No one called to tell us otherwise, and clearly the system was not set up to tell us they were closed.

Our frustration was evident pretty quickly, and we basically just walked out, and tried to decide where we would get chicken to feed the 20 + people who were arriving imminently. As we walked to the car, the cleaner raced towards us, phone in hand, stating the owner would like to talk to us. Very kind of him.

The owner quickly went on the defensive, claimed there must of been a glitch in the system, that there is no way you could of placed that order (we had a screenshot of the order we placed so we knew this was a lie), and basically, putting it on us that it was our fault. No apology, and just a condescending attitude. She ended the call with a very smug “Merry Christmas, Ciao” and that was it. No conversation on how she could fix the situation, no options on other places we could go to. But again, and the most crucial part that was missing, no apology. It was Christmas, and she acted line an absolute Grinch.

Will never. EVER. eat from this place again. If I could vote 0 stars, I would.

Go to KFC. Dealing with a 14 year old who fails my drive thru order twice in a row still shows more competence...

Those in the know will already be frequenting Inflames Charcoal Grill on a Monday and Tuesday night for their $20 all-you-can-eat chargrilled chicken, garlic sauce, Mediterranean salad, and chips. A family-run business, Inflames is operated by locals for locals, and their passion is evident in their food and warm hospitality.

I had the pleasure of sampling their menu and in the great tradition of Sunday feasting, enjoyed an abundance of mouth-watering Lebanese dips (hommus, baba ghanouj, labne), salads (tabbouli, fatoush, cauliflower florets, traditional rice, Greek salad, marinated grilled vegetables) and succulent chargrilled meats (lamb, beef, kafta) not forgetting the aforementioned chargrilled chicken and garlic sauce. Plus all those wonderful appetisers of kibbi, falafel, sambusik and olives and pickles.

It’s not your standard fast food charcoal chicken shop with a spacious and pleasant dining area adjacent the takeaway service area. But if all you’re after is a quick meal or takeaway, there are no shortage of options with wraps and meal deals. And being a short stroll from Castle Towers makes it a good option for a delicious and great value meal away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping...

The food here is undeniably tasty – fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired and overshadowed the dining experience.

We arrived at 8pm and were told the kitchen closes at 8:40, which seemed reasonable. However, before i could even settle in, the server rushed over, shoved menus at me, and demanded i order immediately at the counter. When I asked for a moment, she insisted she wasn’t rushing but also made it clear i couldn’t sit and review the menu at the table. This created an awkward and unwelcoming start.

Once our order was placed, the food was brought out and rather unceremoniously dropped in front of us. While the dishes themselves were excellent, the lack of care in service was disappointing.

The atmosphere was also underwhelming – very basic, with plastic plates and visible taped-up plastic sheeting that made the space feel like it was mid-renovation.

In short, great food but poor service and a setting that doesn’t justify the “dine-in” prices. With more attentive and professional service, this place could...
