I used to go into this restaurant many years ago. I thought back then, the food was excellent. How wrong I was when I went back in there tonight. The food was terrible. The BBQ octopus I had for entre looked very raw. The salad that came with it was not even fresh. The chicken wings that I ordered for entree hardly had any meat on it. Then came the main course which was seafood Choo Chee . To my disbelief, it looked like 90 percent of it were batter. The brocolli were as hard as nails. The squid tasty very rubbery. The whole dish we ordered were terrible. This is not Thai food. It's way below standard to be considered as Thai food compare to the food that you eat in Thailand. I had visited Thailand many times and I've always loved authentic Thai dishes. The Thai food I had tonight is not one of them. It looked cheap and nasty. Save your money and have a nicer meal elsewhere. I ended up feeling sick on the same night. What an awful experience. Will never set foot in this...
Read moreI've been looking for a good Thai place to eat close by and this was amazing. The duck and pork belly were amazing, one of the best meals I've had and a real treasure as its a small shop.
Seriously, I'm coming back to try the laksa another time for lunch.
Ok, I came back about 5 days later and I brought my family. Once again, the duck and pork belly were amazing. My son tried the chicken laksa and it was disappointing. If you want the best laksa, the best place in Sydney is still The Seat in Carlingford. The pad Thai was good but the seat has them there as well. Overall though, fantastic service on the night and the server was very attentive and I still highly recommend this place as it is BYO and...
Read moreThis used to be more authentic Thai with matching rustic interior, now it’s a kind of Thai that caters to more western tastes, being less on the spicy side and more on tasty creamy curries. Their main competition seems to be Full Moon Thai Restaurant, and Pimarn Thai, both on Terminus Street, as well as Kinn Niyom Thai in the Castle Towers Piazza, all being quite similar in nature. If that’s your preference you’ll like it, along with the decor improvements over the years. Probably more Thai Thai lovers would prefer a little more the Thai Garden House Express in Castle Mall, but that’s only in the daytime, or some other place, in which case my guide would be more...
