In 2021, I ordered 12-14 large pizzas and inspite of repeating asking them to deliver on time, they were 15-20 mins late with no regrets. 15-20 mins means a lot when venue is booked for limited time frame and when its 5-6 years old kids party. Order was placed 2-3days in advance so it was not last moment surprise order for them. Anyways, I believe in giving second chance to everyone. I ordered 12 large pizza on Friday for b day party. Gave them very crystal clear instructions that last year they were late, so I expect them not to repeat the same thing. Payment was made in advance to cent. Party was at Inflatable World, dural - quite well known party venue in the the vicinity. Delivery requested for 3 pm sharp. 3.09 pm no sign of pizza. Called them, they said the delivery man was stuck in traffic jam and would be there In next 15 mins. At 3.16pm delivery man called me to confirm address which came as a surprise to me. Firstly venue was very well known place , secondly the pizza should have been delivered by now. Anyways, I confirmed the address. At 3.35 pm delivery man called and said he was arrived at Grammer high school ! I lost my mind. There I had my almost 40 guests with no food to serve and this guy was so late and now at wrong address! Delivery man was adamant that he was at right place and I should have been there instead. My hubby had to leave party place and guests to go out to look for the guy and guide him to correct address. Venue was booked till 4.30 pm only. Finally the pizza arrived in table at 3.45 pm. To my surprise, the pizza were really hot. If food was out for delivery on time then how come the food was so hot even after 45 mins! The drive from mad topping pizza and Inflatable World as per Google map ( not my personal estimation , judgements) its just 11 mins drive. I was so disappointed. I am very organized person and such service when I'm hosting party is unacceptable. It happened twice. No apology call, no apology email! Mad crème sauce, garlic sauce, afghani seasoning, marinated chicken, mushroom, caramelized onion and mozzarella cheese topped with spring onions" as per the description on their site. Afghani chicken has completely different flavour ( correct me if i am wrong) and it has creamy preparation and no one uses tandoori chicken PASTE in Afghani chicken. As a delivery driver, I understand the pressures of a busy kitchen, but the lack of respect shown to me was disheartening. Despite the food being ready, I was made to wait 15- 20 minutes on multiple occasions, which not only impacts me but also the customers eagerly waiting for their meals.
It's crucial that every individual, regardless of their role or job title, is treated with kindness and respect. I witnessed a consistent pattern where staff appeared indifferent to those of us in service roles, almost as if we were invisible. This treatment felt demeaning and unwarranted.
