Collaroy Bakehouse — Restaurant in Sydney

Today I took a *chance at the local bakery Collaroy Bakehouse they do amazing Bahn Mi rolls & breads but I felt like a pie , they looked good in the urn , so I grabbed a minced beef pie it was full as a goog , with a big dome top , light pastry not too thick or thin , baked golden with a warm peppery mince beef & gravy inside , held together well considering how full it was , sensational eating for the good old plain pie 🥧. This is such a gem in the neighbourhood, I’d say hidden, but all the locals seem to know it already! Not only great food and coffee but the atmosphere is also buzzing. The staff are always super friendly and well organised and as a consequence it’s clearly become a little hub in the community. There’s a great selection of baked goods, but the Coffee, Pies and Croissants are their star products in my opinion. For a chilled, friendly beachy vibe, and a quick bite to eat, it’s definitely my favourite pop-in when I head this way and if it’s busy, you can just cross the road and eat on the beach or snag a bench and look out to Sea. 🌊 🏜️ 🏖️ ☕️ ...

We have been coming to the Bakehouse for15 years ... my partner loves their Asian rolls (cheapest and the best around!), their coffees are great and their bread is as good as any. They are always busy .. and always have been! ... and they once a year for a couple of weeks when they all go off on holiday! Good for them ... we regulars miss them tho'! They do close at 3.00 - sometimes...
