I hate to post this as I am a regular to coogee espresso. I always have good food but yesterday I was appalled by how a staff member was treating his barista. I never ever make negative post but this was disgusting to treat your staff so rudley. I was being served by a man with a beard he was extremely angry behind the till he was almost slamming the buttons so hard against the screen taking my order he kept going back and forth between taking my order and speaking so rudely to his barista telling him he kept doing things wrong .he was not at all friendly to me either. I was going to ask to speak to the manager only I actually think he may have been the manager or potentially related to the owners. If you have feedback to give your staff do it kindly and in private and also maybe take a look at your leadership as everyone in line could see how awful the staff were...

Terrible experience with the service. I waited a long time to put my order (which is ok, on a Saturday morning there are many orders, I can wait). When it was finally my turn, the owner asked me the table, but I could see my husband who was moving from a table to another so I did not reply immediately amd the owner asked me rudely "you don't know what table you are sitting in?" - which was useless anyway, because they give numbers. Finally, once I was ready to pay, he did not send the payment to the machine, so I could not put my card on. He said "oh, you don't know how to pay?", took my card from my hands without asking, and then clearly realised the problem - he did not apologize, sent the payment to the machine and paid for me.
