Visited Morning Glory Cafe this morning and had a truly wonderful experience. The food and coffee were absolutely perfect—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It’s clear that quality is a top priority here, and it really shows in every bite and sip. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy your meal. It’s easy to see why this cafe has such a great reputation and consistently high ratings. The only minor drawback is the seating situation. As a popular spot, it can get quite busy, which sometimes makes it a bit tricky to find a place to sit—especially during peak hours. Hopefully, that’s something they can expand or improve over time. That said, the overall experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for quality food, excellent coffee, and a charming atmosphere, Morning Glory Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

The location is great! Am sure the food maybe good - everyone looked happy with it. The coffee certainly looked good and should have gone for it. But just stay clear away from the smoothies - they’re a joke. Ordered an açai smoothie that was actually mainly coconut water blended with 4 small - very small slices of banana for flavouring (so you wouldn’t sense the coconut water), then some figment of an açai colour. Was watching it being made! A super green smoothie - of soy milk - a couple of baby spinach leafs, plus one more item I don’t care to remember! A silly drink. Disappointed is all that I can say! For $28 - they could have actually made a smoothie that had some thickness to it with stronger flavours. A visit to the corner store for coconut water would have been wiser or simply a walk further down the beach for the fruit juice place would have been better.

This cafe does not do table service. Which feels kinda odd coz when you walk in, they didn't even say hi or offer us menu. It's kinda felt transactional. It didn't feel warm and welcoming. Maybe To me it only felt weird, coz I'm used to table service in the Eastern Suburbs along the beaches. I ordered the brekkie wrap and it was nice, but it was quite thin and light. Comparing to other brekkie wraps in coogee and bondi cafes, it felt like Morning glory are quite stingy with the amount of ingredients in that wrap. But again, this is my experience and my order, so it could be different for you. I hope this helps.

A really decent little beach side cafe. With ultra friendly staff, great coffee, very tasty food and an amazing view/position, this is an awesome little place.

As a Sydney local I've been coming on and off for a few years and definitely used to be my go to place when in the eastern suburbs. Went off it as a new 'lifestyle' owner took over from about December 2017 and seemed determined to make a hash of it by shutting it when she wanted to go surfing, being rude to customers, shouting at staff etc.

Thankfully a mate told me that she had found it all too hard for her lifestyle, so sold it to new owner Susie a month ago. So I thought i'd go back and give it a go. Viva la difference!

If you want something ultra flash and haute cuisine that anticipates your every need before you've even arrived (and you can't read the obvious sign that says order inside), then this may not be the place for you. But for those of you who want really decent food and coffee without having to remortgage your home (like many cafes in Coogee), a pleasant dining experience, really nice staff and one of the best cafe locations in Australia (seriously - a cul de sac 30 metres from the beach!), then Morning Glory is your place. You won't be...

With the GREATEST coffee in Coogee, the tastiest food (with special mention to the veggie breakfast wrap) and the most wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff, Morning Glory Cafe was a no brainer for the Coogee Run Club’s cafe of choice!

The whole team LOVES coming in on Thursday and Sunday mornings SO much that the experience has become part of our ethos in giving us a chance to chat and connect when we’re not puffing up a Coogee hill!

Thank you SO MUCH to Susie and her OUTSTANDING staff who welcome and accomodate us twice a week. We are always welcomed with a smile and often by name - which is no small task for a club with 1000 members!

We honestly couldn’t say enough good things about this little slice of heaven in Coogee (did we mention that it’s also the ideal spot to whale watch - there’s even a pair of binoculars by the window!).

Keep up the amazing work, Morning Glory! And everybody else needs to go try a cup! (Bonus points if you take a mug from their library and get 20c off and help save Mother Earth!)
