Curry On - Hornsby — Restaurant in Sydney

A fantastic overall experience that has me coming back for the second night in a row!

It's so rare to find indian takeaway that have an exclusive vegan menu, and usually when I do find one it's quite limited. You have no idea how excited I was to see so many creamy curry options to choose from. Vegan kormas, vegan butter chicken, vegan saag, vegan malai kofta... the list goes on. I'm not just resigned to go with a chana masala or mixed vegetables and have to call to check if there is ghee or butter used. Not to mention there's a vegan cheese naan! We ordered the vegan butter chicken, vegan lamb rogan josh and vegan mix vegetables and all were delicious and extremely filling.

The portions are generous, and the packing for delivery was extremely secure and thoughtful.

Shout out to Vijay and his awesome customer service. I work in retail, so I always want to call out lovely service, as more often than not we only hear about bad experiences. Thanks mate :)

I'm only sad that I did not discover this restaurant sooner, as we're moving from Hornsby in 3 days :( However we will make this a monthly...

After being impressed with their easy to use website and menu design, I was very eager and curious to try their dishes. It was a Friday evening and since none of us were interested to cook, we decided to try this joint since they have been on our list for a while. We decided on their combo options, naan rice curry options - please keep in mind these guys are a take away/delivery place. The food packing is top notch with ample portion size - however I would give this order an average rating since few of their dishes were too sweet to my palette. Chicken chilly turned out to be spicy and sweet which was a turn off, however the butter chicken and other dishes made up for it. I did have a chat with the team who offered a chance to make up for it next time. Please call them up for customisation after placing an order to not get disappointed. This place, in my opinion has the best Indian food in Hornsby.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews - they may have gotten the wrong restaurant as the food we have received so far is of very good quality.

The portion of curry dishes can be a little bit bigger but I find the price and quality negates that so we keep coming back for more.

Whenever I order from Uber or pick up, the food is always fresh and warm and prepared very quickly. The owner is also very on the ball with his orders.
