Arrived at your store at around 120pm to be politely greeted by a wonderful lady at the front who done her best to police what her superiors had directed her to do, although the gentleman behind the desk was extremely rude & unprofessional. Not only did he stop conversation with his customer to tell me to put my mask up (mind you I had dropped it for a second to unlock my phone) but he continued to antagonise (whilst still serving his customer) when the amazing staff member who was actually serving me had all the context to the situation. This store would get one star if it wasn't for the lovely lady being accommodating. The second star is for the gentleman realising his actions and apologising as I left. Why did I document it here even though he apologised? Because most superiors should be policing your store if they want to implement new structure, not the staff. Being retail staff is hard enough, don't accept the anxiety from your boss asking you to do more than you're paid for.

So glad the management and staff are intelligent, personable, friendly, professional and know their stuff. This store has an impressive collection of games and are happy to order titles that are not in stock. They rate their games and give personal reviews. I've been given suggestions for similar game types, and have not been disappointed. Whilst it's easy to order online, it's so enjoyable browsing the content and exploring new titles in a comfortable environment. Board games are a tactile experience, and I believe the browsing & purchasing should be similar. My children have always been addressed appropriately, and never ignored. Excellent shop! I've been a regular customer for their trading cards for over a year now. I've had the privilege of knowing some of their staff quite well and often will come along to visit and chat when I get the chance. It's my go to place not just for trading cards, but also for board games. Staff are very knowledge and can easily help pick out the games based off a short description. Additionally, it's very easy to pre order for upcoming trading card products, as stock is extremely limited! As for price, they have gone up over the year, and apparently it will be $9.95 for a play booster for these forthcoming MTG sets. But, still 90% cheapest option in Hornsby (except maybe the Good Games vending...
