It's hot and miss with this store. When they are good they are great but when they are bad they are appalling.
I received my order today and the lava cakes both had mold on them which I didn't notice until I took a couple bites. The store sent over another couple of lava cakes but they too have mold on them. 2nd photo is the original lava cakes. 1st is the replacement and it looks like they cooked the extra long to try to hide the mold which is still visible.
When you review your order, If you give a negative rating they send you a discount code. I had a code from the last bad order but the code was not redeemable at my local store despite being sent to me from the local store manager.
When they mess up and send you a voucher, they still expect you to place a minimum order of $21.90. an everyday restaurant would never get away with a shonky practice like that. How can you say "we messed up but we're going to force you to spend money in our store in order for you to utilise the compensation." 🙄
I worked in retail for many years and I understand that from time to time mistakes happen but the mistakes happen at this store far too often and it makes me question the management because it starts with them. It's not just had food any more, it's now a serious health hazard. A call to the health department is in order I think.
Most of their delivery drivers are great.
EDIT: 13 April 2025 I ordered at 349pm. At 351pm the website said they were srill making my order. I called the store and sat on hold for 5 minutes and 3 seconds when they hung up on me! I called back at 355pm and a male told me that they are very busy and my order should arrive in 30 minutes despite it being 44 minutes already. When I asked why they are not informing customers that their order will take over an hour to arrive, he said he has been too busy.
Surely if they are that busy, they can afford to employ more staff to get orders out quicker or they can employ someone to call people and warn them it will take at least 1 hour and 10 minutes for their order to arrive and give them the option to cancel?
This store is absolutely pathetic. An apology is great but not when there are repeated issues. Sorry people change their behaviour, the manager of this store...
Read moreThis review is not about the pizza, it’s about the treatment of employees. Tonight a very young stress person delivered my pizza. Despite being told when I ordered that they would bring an efpos machine as I do not carry cash. When the young person arrived he had not efpos machine and was very stressed. After I saw this I walked to an efpos machine that only gave me $40 the pizza was $22 so I either had to pay $40 to Domino’s or $20. I could not pay $40. Afterwards I rang domino’s to say I owed $2 and wanted to leave a tip for the person who delivered. They said they had no capacity to do that and I would have needed to do that through the efpos machine when I paid. I asked why they didn’t bring the efpos machine, they said because they only have one machine for the the deliverers!!! It’s Friday night, winter, beginning of the school holidays, and they have 15 year olds running around on bikes, at night delivering pizza’s when they can’t make the sale because Domino’s is too mean to provide the efpos machines. After 30 minutes no sign of the delivery driver, so I rang again, she said they were busy, would take another 10 minutes. After 10 minutes still no sign of him. I rang again, same girl answered, she checked and told me the driver left around 5 minutes ago. So waited few more minutes, but same thing, no sign of the driver! I rang again, same girl answered, said they were busy so will take another 10-15 minutes. I said to her that few minutes ago when I rang she told me the driver left 5 minutes ago so he should have arrived by now, but how come it took extra time again.
