The order I had (Matraville Dominos Pizza) was terrible.
After ordering, and calling the resturaunt twice - it took almost two hours for them to start preparing the order. The first time i called up when the order was overdue, they said it would be no longer than 20 minutes, 30 minutes later I called again - and they had said that they would be putting my order in the oven shortly (this was already 90 minutes after i placed the order).
When calling the store for a 3rd time, i asked for the manager, they told me i was not allowed to speak to the manager and that if i wanted to resolve the issue I would have to come down to the store.
So i drove to the store, and was rudely met with staff who told me that “he wasn’t even meant to be there” and i then spoke to a reluctant manager who basically told me too bad, if i have an issue I would need to speak with Uber (the app i used to order the pizza through)
When i asked if i could instead pay the in-store pickup price rather than the full delivery price, as I clearly would not need a delivery, he refused to give me any refund or discount and If i wanted, i could still have the order delivered to my home (even though I was standing in the store).
I asked for the manager/owner’s name, and phone number but was refused.

Read moreI placed an order for delivery this evening, and upon seeing on the app that the food had been delivered, I searched both the front of my house and two neighboring houses. No pizza... called the store, and the young girl Ava was extremely insistent that it had in fact been delivered. I checked again and still have no order. I had asked for them to re-make it, and I will collect it in store. I had also told the phone operator, Ava, that I would like my delivery fee refunded.
I go into the store to pickup my order, and they still decide to challenge me at the counter, saying it was delivered. Once they had remade it and I asked the older gentleman for my delivery refund, he challenged me on the amount I paid while I was holding the receipt from the Dominos app on my phone.
I have ordered from here before and had the delivery driver mocked me on my doorstep due to my mother being visually impaired. I spoke to the manager over the phone at the time and agreed not to post a review about that experience, but after this poor customer service experience, I am more than happy to make it public.

After 1HR still waiting decided to call to follow up nobody answered the phone. At 18.10 pizza came by that time already had dinner the delivery person called and said your pizza is here my question to him was what would you do if you waited for more than 2HRS for a pizza noting that my place is 5mins away from the store. He replied he would be upset.
Yes it is upsetting when I called to follow up they could have pick up the phone and explain their situation or they could have called but eitheir was not done so....
Yes there are shortage of staff every where but we can always try our best to communicate to assure our customer that we do aknowledge their patience and understanding of the crisis were facing if they only pick up or called to explained would have make a difference.
This review hoping serves an eye opener to the management. All of Australia is struggling when it comes to staffing but we still need to think outside the box so the customer is not being left...
