Eden Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

Rude customers standing in front of the main counter absolutely ignorant to 3 customers behind waiting to order, I asked if they were waiting ordering and they indicated no we are waiting so I went to the side of the counter, they wouldn’t move an inch, as soon as The lady came to the counter she asked who’s next and I then began to ask for a coffee before the customers next to me who said they were waiting then butted in and asked for something after I had asked them if they were ordering and they indicated they were waiting!, confused I just waited while they carried On like they were the only people in the world. When I finally asked for a coffee, the first thing I always ask is ‘do you have decafe’ the lady serving responded yes, so I placed my order, to my surprised half way through making coffee the lady behind the counter then said to me ‘ did you ask for decafe’ I said yes, she then said to me you didn’t ask for decafe ??? I said I did ask for decafe and looked at one of the customers who heard me say it and he looked puzzled too?, she then said I have to make another coffee now, I didn’t know what to say, in my head I was thinking ‘ ahhh you should have written it down or remembered it I was pretty clear’. I ordered a mocha. The lady handed me a cup of warm milk and said it is mocha🙃

I ordered a large mocha. The lady made it for 10 minutes, left the coffee machine for quite a while which I don't know what she was doing for. Her colleague was making order for another lady. There was none of her business. After I gave her a glance she finally turned back to the machine. The machine has already done the extraction so many minutes and the extraction turned cold. Anyway she handed me a cup and said my latte is ready, which I ordered mocha actually. I took a sip and it definitely wasn't mocha. It was just a large cup of warm milk. I said excuse me I ordered a large cup of mocha. And she said it is mocha. What could I say? Terrible coffee,...

I’d never had a favourite coffee place. Not to offend any coffee aficionado‘s, but I thought coffee shops were generally all the same.

However, Eden Espresso, is now my new go to. Kevin and Swas get my order (long black) perfect every single time. It’s a simple order, easy to get wrong, but it’s always just right.

It’s always a pleasure seeing their friendly faces in the morning, and their customer service is outstanding.
