Reservation process to being seated was a smooth process. Food was on the salty side (which could be more a personal taste preference so others may not find it salty). Favourite dish for the group was definitely the salad with the goats cheese Recommendation is when seated, to order the paella straight away as they take long. You can browse menu for tapas and drinks after putting the paella order through :) Staff were friendly but seemed eager to take dishes as multiple different staff would come in short intervals and ask to take the dishes away (note- from when we walked in and walked out, we were there for 1 hr which I dont think is overstaying) When we were getting the bill, a few of us decided to go to the bathroom but as we were walking to the back section of the restaurant where the bathrooms were located, we were abruptly stopped by staff (looked like the manager- black shirt, glasses, not wearing the black apron like other waitstaff). he put both arms out to block us? We were a bit confused and asked whether the bathroom's this direction? and he said "no" we were MORE confused and asked if there were bathrooms here and he just said frankly "only for customers" ??? Not sure how he jumped to that conclusion. I mean.. yes we were in plain pants and tshirt attire- not in suits or dresses (coincidentally there were 2 families left in the restaurant at that time dressed in suits and dresses ) but our clothes weren't ripped, raggedy or soiled so I'm not sure what made him think we were randoms off the street that came into the restaurant to use the bathroom ...we had to point him out our table. he just said "ah" then moved so we can actually go to the bathroom... no expression of apology for misunderstanding. In the future, when he is doubting the patron of being a patron I think there are more polite ways rather than an abrupt body block with a "no" that he can do before judging. Don't think ill be back but the lady who checked our reservation and seated us was a pleasure for sure :)

Um.. well First, this is not that delicious. It doesn't look like what you imagine after browsing all the pictures from the review areas. The rice dish was just the one that you can make by the rice cooker from your home, simply add some tomato sauce and put some frozen seafood bought from the Chinese super market and that would be it. All the seafood is ridiculously small (I mean the eatable meat part), the only exception was the king prawn, well, the prawn itself was so dry inside, and your whole mouth will be full-filled by the offensive smelling of the typical seafood. GUYS, JUST MAKE SOMETHING WORTHY AT HOME PLZ! Secondly, the lamb skewers. I have to say that the meat tasted relatively good, it wasn't too dry. However, the lamb was just over-salted, there was no any other flavours covering, IT'S JUST SALTED, TOO SALTED! The only good point would be the drink which is basically mixed by the Sprite and the red wine and added some trimmed fruit pieces, it did taste good. Also the environment and the service, they were reasonably good as well. For truth, I paid for like 110+ for two people to kind of "enjoy" this level of cooking was just ridiculous. I don't have any idea why the rating was so good in Google map or you guys are just basically ordering some deep fried potatoes topped with some creamy sauces AND SAYS "Oh, that was fantastic" or some fake sentences. Well, the truth is: THE ONLY THING GOOD IS JUST THE SAUCES THEMSELVES, NOT ANY POINT FOR THEIR COOKING! GUYS, JUST TRY NOT TO WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNING MONEY FOR THIS LEVEL OF CUISINE PLZ, IT WASN'T WORTHY!

The customer service needs a serious work, especially the female Spanish? youngish wait staff with a ponytail who was there on the evening of 24/06. We arrived at 5pm without a reservation and was directed to a table right in front of the doorway when only two tables were occupied. When asked for a different one the facial expression of staff directing us changed for the worse and after some discussion with a different staff gave us another one and said we need to vacate within 1.5 hours which was plenty for us. Throughout she would keep staring at us which made the whole dining experience extremely uncomfortable. She constantly asked the table next to us if everything was ok but not a single word to us. I don’t know what her issue was when all we did was ask a simple question and she’s getting paid to work there. Food was average and not somewhere I’d wait 45 minutes for the quality. I know they make the food when ordered and not premade and we were advised on a 30 minute wait initially - even though there were hardly any customers when we first ordered. Moral of the story: book ahead if you don’t want to be treated like someone who went and dined for free, when we spent around $100 for two and took up less than 30 minutes chair time excluding the food wait time.

Highly disappointed. We ordered a paella, and the waitress mentioned that we should expect a 40 minutes wait. It was not our first paella, so it was expected. What was not expected, is that 25 minutes after we ordered, another couple sat on the table right next to us, and another 15 minutes later, they got the exact paella we ordered. And we know that they didnt order before hand because they were so close that we could hear them ordering. Anyway, 10 minutes later (so 50 minutes in total since we ordered), the waitress came to us saying that the paella was coming. There was no acknowledgement that our order may have been stuffed up, nor a thank you for our patience. So, our paella finally arrived 60 minutes later (so about 30 minutes of cooking time, assuming we got the paella from the other couple, and presumably rushed as well), and the rice was a bit raw. When paying the bill, the cashier asked how our meal was. I gave them a chance for redemption, and mentioned that the rice was still a bit raw, but still okay. The cashier's reply was that if we wanted the rice softer, we should have requested it and they could have cooked it for us longer. I dont know how the couple next to us get to enjoy a presumably yummy and not-rushed paella only 15 minutes after ordering, and we got a raw paella after "60" minutes of cooking. So I dont know how cooking for longer would have helped in this situation.

Edit: after looking at other peoples photos of paella at this place, can definitely confirm they rushed our paella by cooking it in higher flame. The sauce at the edges of our paella was dry, while all photos doesnt show the dryness. If you were serious about paella, you should know that you cannot...

We went here last night for dinner and we’re given the table right next to the service counter. We had reserved well in advance and were not a walk-in. Now this had two problems (1) there was a nice big cockroach on the table (alive). That completely icked us out and the service staff was absolutely careless about it. They just dropped it to the floor and went on with conversation as if it didn’t matter that they didn’t have good pest control, (2) they didn’t try changing even out cutlery or plates. We had to remind that there was cockroach so best to give us fresh cutlery and plates etc. and (3) there was a cold draft everytime the door opened. The restaurant had more than 4 tables empty but apparently they were all reserved and couldn’t be given to us. On our request the manager girl asked me when we had reserved our table and I said day before to which she responded well the better tables for the guests who reserved before you in time. I have never heard such a comment and thought it was rude and stupid at the same time.

It was late and we couldn’t think of where to get food so we thought we will eat here because we had our son along and he was hungry. Despite the unclean place and rudeness, we went on to order some food as needed to feed our kid. We ordered about 7-8 tapas plates. Except for the garlic prawns and chorizos everything else was very very sub-standard in taste and in preparation quality. Wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to anyone. We tried more than 40 restaurants in the last few days in Sydney and I would rate this as the worst of them all. There are delightful places to go to and this definitely ain’t...
