I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service during my recent visit. After assisting another customer who was having difficulty being understood due to his accent, we found ourselves standing there waiting to be served. Despite the previous customer leaving, the staff member turned her back on us and proceeded to have a personal conversation with another employee while drinking her beverage.
There was no acknowledgement of our presence for several minutes. It wasn't until we began to walk away that she finally addressed us with a âCan I help you, ladies?â â at which point I replied, âToo late,â and we left.
This experience reflected a lack of basic customer service etiquette and awareness. Unfortunately, it left a very poor impression, and I hope management provides further training to ensure customers feel welcomed and respected...

Also noticed theyâve got a massive range of sourdoughs: rye, white, wholemeal, spelt, multigrain, etc. Didnât try the bread this time but it all looked proper rustic. Bit of a line when I went, but it moved quickly and the cabinet was still well stocked around mid-morning.
Will definitely be back to try more, keen to see how their croissants or...
