Gözleme King Hurstville — Restaurant in Sydney

I came here expecting to try something new and I saw they had a special dish (Turkish Menemen) displayed on the glass where the food is kept and decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed with it. The bread is absolutely amazing a bit overcooked and too hard to properly eat (roughly 10%) which isn't a big deal. I was expecting it to look exactly as the picture but I was informed that it is their very first time making it as it is a recent dish and no one has ordered before me and they are indeed very genuine about it. The eggs and mixed veggies were great though a little bit of the egg was sticky but it was still very appetising and filling. The service is amazing and the staff are very joyful people always smiling and open to feedback! It's located inside Westfield near Kmart right at the food court by the car park and easily accessible. Ordered two gozlemes, a Peri Peri Chicken and a Sucuk one, and one baklava via a delivery app this morning and scheduled it for arrival at 12:30-1:10pm. Order arrived at 2:02 p.m. Meanwhile took the time to cook up something to fill myself. Although the delivery app offers full refund for orders arriving late, didn't help as was in a hurry today and ordered delivery for convenience, and, these food items in particular for their easiness to eat. Also realised it was the same store I ordered from in person last time with my partner that took more than half an hour to serve up one gozleme. There was perceived racism as there was apparent difference in warmth and quickness of service between on non-Asian-looking customers and Asian-looking ones. Gozleme : The meat u see the counter is not made fresh or on site

It’s not cooked on site all they do is place greens in the pre made mince and place cut in the pastry to cook

I was told by the owner that it’s brought in from the factory of where they prepare it mixed with a pre made sauce. When I asked when was it made I could not get a firm answer

Transporting cooked chicken and not knowing the age or when it was cooked is a health hazard This outlet takes no pride in freshness or health The mince under the counter ca not be identified if it’s chicken or beef as it’s been cooked at another location with its sauce
