Immediately the service was off here; when speaking to the cashier I was enquiring if they still had their Biscoff chillers; she scoffed āuh yeah we do still have themā which was a mocking reply to how I asked the question.
She was in a big rush to process the order just to hurry back to being hunched over the counter, doing nothing to help her busy coworker. She hesitantly put through one of my drinks as oat milk, apparently that was such hard work as she couldnāt help but sigh and usher me to pay while I was still asking.
This isnāt the first time Iāve received bad service here, the staff are often seen on their phones, not looking up to serve as queues form.
Her coworker was answering the phones, running around making drinks and finishing making a toasted sandwiches for another customer.
I think this might have been a result of only one person actually working but our drinks were awful today. I had the one without oat milk and the consistency was that of mashed potato and it had 0 flavour. For an almost $10 drink itās absolutely ridiculous that the service isnāt better and that the quality of the food isnāt worth it.
I feel bad for the girl (not the cashier) who was working, as I canāt imagine the stress of doing a 2 man job beside someone who has a terrible attitude.
I think it was an older girl who was doing all the work, I didnāt catch any names but yeah. Really disappointed.
For reference I came in July 5th, around 3:30pm. I hope the staff receive better training and the girl who was actually working gets some...

I had a accrued points on my GJ card - enough for any drink I wanted . I chose a small tea!! Yep earl grey bag and cup of hot water (small milk comes on side) much cheaper than any other item! I asked that since it's only water (30mlextra perhaps) could he just put the bag in a larger (regular) cup. Same everything just a larger tea with the same one bag I'd be getting either way. He plain out refused - even though I had the points I could of cancelled it to prove what a ** he was being - though I chose just to walk away and not bother. The logic was ridiculous, a 'loyalty' program that refuses to spare a small amount of extra hot water?!?? What, - have h2o prices inflated to platinum exremes overnight?? Did he think it was the apocalypse? Seriously, if the managers read this reply to me, I'd be happy to point him out and resolve the matter. It's Richard and I am a local regular- I expected more and was disappointed - terrible customer service!!! To the rest of you keep up...

I was reprimanded by the cashier for scanning my Member Card too early. I have to pay first before it can be scanned (no problems done)
After waiting 15 minutes, I was then asked by 2 different staff members to order something. I was a little surprised and said I had ordered already and paid. I was asked for the order receipt but said I didn't get one. Then suddenly I was informed that they were preparing my drink now and would have to wait longer (the restaurant had only 6 served customers sitting. They had forgotten me). I asked for my money back and this started a huge argument and debate that ended in my yelling and swearing. I am 61 years old and never have I witnessed such arrogance or lack of duty and care. I finally got my money back after many minutes of yelling for it back? Then was told to get out and not come back? Well, at least we have a way of warning fellow Gloria Jeans Coffee members to try another shop, not Gloria Jeans...
