Good Ways Deli — Restaurant in Sydney

This is my favourite sambo shop by far! We go every Friday for lunch and honestly cannot recommend a place more. We have made our way through the menu and live for the fortnightly specials. From the roasted chook, to the tuna nicoise, the BLT, the porchetta, the ceasar, the chicken, the ham and the deli and all have been 20/10 so simple yet so delish! Their choc chip cookie is the best I’ve ever had. The lamington and brownie are also absolutely amazing. The staff are always so lovely and accomodating and the shop is an absolute vibe, a picnic bench out the front in one of the most idyllic inner city streets. The whole experience is 10000/10 and will be my Friday ritual for a long time to come. Unfortunately I don’t have too many pics because I just can’t wait to tuck...

After a long time, I finally had the chance to eat here. And I can say one amazing place who knows what they are doing on the sandwich construction.

I had the porchetta sandwich, which was amazing. The porchetta was well seasoned, with a thin slice of the crispy belly making the whole experience amazing. The sauces were on the right level to keep the sandwich moist but not soggy. And the chilli sauce was good.

My wife had the kangaroo mortadella with provolone. Much milder flavour, but good balance and a lot of mortadella.

Started with a five star review but since visiting twice after initial review in the same week I’ve had to knock it down. 1st visit: Cheese ham toastie may be the best I’ve ever had in Sydney. Ham is delicious and not fatty. Sandwich was moist and delicious. 2nd visit: Coffee, even with 3 shots in flat white it’s still not strong enough, and they only offer full cream milk. Long black not strong enough either with extra shot. 3rd visit: online says open until 15.00, arrived at 14.30, got a tentative oh you guys want coffee when the coffee machine is already going through cleaning cycle and no food available at all.
