Ibbys seafood is located right in the heart of Haldon Street Lakemba next door to Chemist warehouse and the main pedestrian crossing.

The menue is very diverse and doesn't just serve your typical fish & chips with a side serve of a salad. Ibbys seafood hits home with its flavoursome marinates leaving you wanting more. The serving are very generous giving you more bang for your buck!

The restraunt is very spacious with the interior design, bringing the underworld water experience right in the middle of Lakemba!

There is also a bathroom and wash sink at the back of the restraunt so no need to worry about fishy smelling hands. However, the product being it's finest Ibbys products don't leave that effect and that's what you want!

Lakemba is very busy in general however parking is easy to find on the main street, side streets and at the back...

honestly don’t get why places feel the need to reinvent something that already works. This is not how Lebanese seafood should taste. • The fish was extremely sweet (why??), with zero trace of the classic garlic and coriander flavor we know from Lebanon. Instead of fresh, savoury notes, I got an eggy aftertaste that made me question if the fish was even fresh. • Garlic dip? More like garlic soup. Watery, bland, and missing that proper toum punch. • Everything was drowning in cumin powder….but in Lebanese cooking, it’s coriander powder that brings depth, not this overwhelming curry-like dust on everything. • Octopus was rubbery and overcooked. • Chips were burnt and hard. • Honestly, the whole plate looked better than it tasted.

If you’re going to serve Lebanese food, make it Lebanese. Not some weird fusion guesswork....

The food was ordinary. For the price it is quite expensive. As for the customer service is deplorable. I placed an order when there was only another customer in line. Not only my order was delivered second when I was placed the order 5 minutes before the other client but I also had to wait for an additional 10 minutes afterwards. When I said that the service was horrible, I got the answer of 'yeah no worries'. I mean if you go to the website, a review cannot be submitted. So it is up to you guys if you want to dine in such a place. As for me, I will never set foot there. I do feel that there was racial discrimination and fear of the quality of the food where I can get...
