The Italian Spot — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently ordered the BB Chicken Pizza, Napolitana Pizza, and Calamari Fritti from Italian Spot and it was an absolute delight!

The BB Chicken Pizza was a flavor explosion – tender, smoky chicken paired with a tangy BBQ sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The crust was perfectly baked, with a crispy edge and a soft, chewy center.

The Napolitana Pizza was a classic done right. The fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella were so fresh and flavorful, and the thin crust was spot-on. It felt like a slice of Naples!

And let’s not forget the Calamari Fritti – it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The calamari was tender, not rubbery, and the coating was light and crispy. It came with a delicious dipping sauce that tied everything together.

The entire order was ready on time, and everything was piping hot when it arrived. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch.

If you’re craving authentic Italian flavors, this place is a must-try. I can’t wait to...

I love what these guys are trying doing and I know they’re still relative new. The food presentation and the service was good.

We came in on a quiet weeknight. We ordered a beef and pineapple pizza and the spaghetti marinara with the dough on top.

The pizza come out to fast approximately 7 to 8 mins and dough was really uncooked and in the centre it was Soggy. There was so much oil or water on top, it was actually boiling when served.

The spaghetti marinara had lots of seafood (good) but not enough pasta in it. For $30 - $35 you want a decent serve of pasta. The pasta sauce was running and quite flavourless.

There was little seasoning and we put on lots of salt and pepper to bring some type of flavour to it.

I’m excited to see what they can do in the future once they improve consistency.

Italian Spot is a great place for authentic Italian-style pizza that never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the shop is well-maintained and clean, which adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The pizzas are packed with flavor and made with quality ingredients. Some of the must-try options include the BBQ Chicken, Supreme, and Meat Lovers — all of which are delicious and truly mouth-watering. The crust is perfectly baked, and the toppings are always generous. It does get very busy on weekends, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hours. However, parking is rarely an issue, with plenty of space available in the Community Pl parking lot and additional spots behind Abu Salim.
