Kidz Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Went for lunch with my children after a hospital visit. Ordered hot meals for children and a sandwich for myself. Hot meals arrived but my sandwich never did. As we were leaving, I asked for a refund for my sandwich which must have been forgotten. I didn't care and wasn't rude at all. The man serving apologised and offered the refund, as he did the lady making the sandwiches yelled out she had it now. I said we were leaving now as all the meals had been finished , she yelled that she was busy and it's ready now again. I told her the children's hot meals have been eaten and it's too late. She then proceeded to yell out to all the other customers "well, does anyone want a chicken sandwich?" and say other things as we left. My children even asked me why that lady was so rude.

I rang to provide feedback as I felt so uneasy about it and was abused by another woman on the phone who wouldn't let me get a word in. Yes understood they were busy, but hot meals had been cooked, served and finished so I no longer required my lunch and went hungry. If they were aware they were busy a quick apology to me and a refund and that would have been it.

Advise not to go there, especially with children (as it's at the Childrens Hospital). If they are happy to be that rude around children go...

Sandwiches are banging. The milkshakes not so good! It’s missing all the essentials to a milkshake. Coldness. The whole thing is lukewarm. It’s disgusting. We only come here 4 times over the 21 year's of coming to The Children's Hospital at Westmead and mum said each time the staff were rude and unfriendly towards patients and visitors and hospital staff and the food yucky and very much overpriced , Would not recommend this store please go down to the main shops or into the Hospital if you want fresh food and drink . 🤔...
