La Madia Pizzeria Bondi Beach — Restaurant in Sydney

Went to La Madia recently at approx 7:30pm, it was busy but we were seated without a reservation. Unfortunately the staff forgot about us as the whole set up was a bit chaotic and didn't take our order until we eventually flagged them down. We ordered 3 pizzas, a bottle of wine and a jug of water for the table. The bottle of wine was brought to our table, but 20 mins later we had no food or water, until eventually who I presume was the manager came and asked what we ordered, so we reordered the 3 forgotten pizzas. Another 20 minutes and we finally got our food having finished our bottle of wine at this point (still no water despite asking 3 times). We then asked another time for water and the waitress apologised, and gave a jug but no glasses so we had to flag her down again.

Overall, the pizzas were delicious, and we would return just for the pizzas (although probably for takeaway)! The service wasn't good at all, and the waitresses...

Food and wine good. Unfortunately after one hour and a half hours we were forced to leave. We couldn’t even finish our last few sips of our wine after spending over $200. The manager came and said “ you have to leave”We have and 8.30 booking, it was 8.35. We would not have ordered so much if they told us we only had 1.5 hours to have our dinner. Sadly, it ruined our experience and our night. It would be nice to know before we were seated we only had 1.5 hours to eat dinner. My poor friend, had to stand in the middle of the restaurant to finish her wine. Shame the manager could not wait 3 more minutes, as were about to leave as the waitress had already let us know they needed the table two minutes prior to his demand.
