La Pizza Bella — Restaurant in Sydney

Worst experience. Website was not working (said store was closed) so rang (as have done before). Asked if they were open, "yes of course". took my order which took forever, guy had no idea what was going on, every time i said something he checked with someone in the background. The takes my credit card details then hangs up. I call back because he needs my address to deliver and he says , oh we don't do delivery! Again he's asking someone else who eventually takes over the call who says we can deliver and makes me go over the order again, by this time I just cancel the order because who knows what i would have gotten (the last few deliveries were hit and miss, hot and cold and ingredient exclusion notes completely ignored), and I ask him to reverse the payment and refund it to which he says "we cant give refunds our machine does not have that function" which being ex retail and hospitality i know is a lie. So then i spent the next 2 hours on hold with my bank to try and get the charge reversed which I did but it took a whole week to be refunded. Will...

Gave it a try today. Just grabbed single slices. They were $6.50 each at the time. I tried the Sweet Green, Ok USA and Queen Margherita. I enjoyed them all but I think the Sweet Green was my favorite. The spinach and ricotta just complimented the pizza really well. The hint of garlic was also really nice. It also made the crust taste a bit like garlic bread while the other 2 slices were just bread which was a bit boring.

There pretty decent sized so if you don't eat much 1 slice will probably do. But most people are gonna need at least 2 and bigger eaters will need 3-4.

Service was good and quick. Polite young lady was always smiling although I asked a simple question and it was a bit noisy so I couldn't make out what she was saying but she didn't stop talking for a while so I just kept nodding wondering how she could extend her answer that long.

I used La Pizza Bella for one of my events recently after being recommended them by a colleague. Our event required over 60 pizzas to be delivered to our venue ahead of the event for guests to enjoy. Tommy was key to supporting me with the event, making sure that the order he received was correct and then continuing to check in to reconfirm the details of the event. Him and his team had to do a couple of drop offs of pizza due to the sheer amount but both times were super helpful with the delivery and making sure that everything was how we wanted it. The pizza flavours themselves were delicious, with many guests also commenting on how tasty they were and asking for details! My favourites were Hell Chicken, Smashed Pumpkin, BBQ meatlovers and the garlic and mozarella! Will definitely be looking to use the La Pizza Bella team again for future events if we need more...
