I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lil' Miss Piggy in Surry Hills, NSW, for a work dinner with a group of 10 people, and we opted for their banquet menu. From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of outstanding.

The process began with emailing to book our reservation, and even at this initial stage, the communication and efficiency were impeccable. It set a fantastic tone for what was to come.

As for the food, it was truly incredible! Every dish on the banquet was a delight, bursting with flavour and clearly prepared with immense care. The variety and quality exceeded all our expectations. What's more, the value for money was absolutely amazing, especially considering the generous portions and the high standard of the cuisine.

Beyond the delicious food, the service was perfect. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our large group was well looked after throughout the evening without being intrusive. We all had an incredible time, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and the fantastic company.

I cannot recommend Lil' Miss Piggy highly enough. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Surry Hills with exceptional food, great value, and flawless service, this is the...

The food is exceptional. The service is very good. The ambiance is so-so. The restaurant has a small indoor area with a back garden that would look nice and intimate. Yet, as it happened to us, a couple, we were seated near a table of six women that were talking and laughing at such high volume that we asked to change table, went inside where the seating is less comfortable. I guess I still gave the restaurant five stars since the food is outstanding and they have little control over patrons that spoil the experience for everyone else. There was another couple that came after us and was seated in the garden. They left after few minutes, for the same reason I guess. I am writing this review as as "constructive criticism". I suggest that a large table should not be placed in the center of the garden and be somehow shielded from other small tables. When good food, wine and Friday night vibe ...hard to control the noise. Again, we loved the food but next time I will...

Update 2023: Portion has decreased dramatically, I'm very disappointed. Ordered truffled eggs, VG burgers and sweet little thang. My goodness. I am so embarrassed to take my friends here pitching how good this cafe is. I'd take back my review. Miss sweet thang: ONE piece or waffle for 19 Vg burger: HALF of a sandwich. Not even a burger, 14bucks Truffled eggs: ONE slice of bread plus god knows how many eggs in there, for 24bucks. Shameful, stingy serving. I do not recommend. Not only that, the waiter was having some trouble getting us a regular long black with one shot. Instead, got my friend one shot of espresso and another small cup of hot water separately. Is this a joke?!

Outdated review from 2021: Amazing fried chicken burger, great values for a hearty brunch. Located on a such hype suburb as well. The Staff were so helpful and nice too. Will come back...

A hidden gem tucked in along Crown st. I have walked passed many times and was pleased to finally eat here for breakfast. The courtyard out the back was a nice place to sit. The favours in the food was excellent, the mushroom bruschetta was my favourite. Despite the 5 stars, there are some elements that could be improved. Both our meals were not hot - more cool which was a minor let down. The bruschetta is quite tough to cut with just a butter knife. A steak knife would be more appropriate to make this dish easier to eat and not risk flinging mushrooms across the table. I did find that the mushroom bruschetta did look quite different to the photos that is posted on social media and their website. Particularly the lack of balsamic pearls. And finally, salt and pepper on the table would be appreciated. Despite the room for improvement, i enjoyed my experience.

Food was delicious with authentic middle eastern flavours. We got the breakfast banquet, lamb shoulder, lamb kofta, shakshuka and brussel sprouts. Price was very reasonable as well and presentation of the food was impressive. Will definitely be coming back!

What a delightful experience. Went for brunch there. Atmosphere- so on point and the details are so in tune with the name and what they are trying to project as a brand. Food- they have an all day breakfast menu which is so on trend. The menu has a middle eastern theme to it which is contradictory and just works: We had the chicken waffles and the chicken burger: the crispy ness of the fried chicken got us! Thank goodness they use thigh meat which just delivers in flavour and moistness. Serve sizes are generous. Food is made with love. Service is friendly, attentive and memorable. Paul and his family run this delightful cafe and it’s just so refreshing to see the friendliness and warmth which is then reflected in the food and flavours that just surprise and delight. On our repeat list for another visit to try more of the menu. Thank you Paul and family.
